Welcome all. For those of you who have actually been here before (those very few of you :), you know that this used to be Pete's QBasic Page. It still will be, in a way. This page will now be a Game Programming page.

I hope to have some first tutorials up soon. These first tutorials will generally assume you are already familiar with QBasic. There are many, many sites on the web that will allow you to learn QBasic, and this is not the aim of this one. The tutorial will not assume you are very advanced, only that you have a working knowleledge of basic input/output, arrays, and some other fairly simple things.

My plan is to eventually cover in the Tutorials the concept of 1. Simple Engine Building, 2. Level Editors, and 3. Putting it all together with a little luck and creatitivity. Languages covered will be QBasic, C/C++, and Assembly. This page won't make you into a Quake engine programmer, but it will definately be a good start. So, if you are interested in Game Programming, keep stopping by until I get things up and running. Because my philosophy for programming home pages is bare-bone-text, it won't be a problem to stop by often for those with lower bandwidth.
