Bonnie Tucker began her professional writing career in 6th grade as the author and illustrator of a comic strip for the middle-school newspaper.
While attending Southern Illinois University, she worked at WIDB Radio writing news and as the voice behind the midnight to six am taped broadcast of Pillow Talk.
Bonnie and her husband, Ed, moved to Houston, Texas where Ed attended law school and she enrolled at the University of Houston as a journalism major. The fall semester started, and she became pregnant with Elizabeth. She went back to the U of H two years later and became pregnant with Eric. This time she waited four years before re-enrolling at the university. Along came baby Jessica.
Deciding her family was large enough, Bonnie stopped going back to school and started writing community interest stories for local newspapers and magazines. She joined Romance Writers of America in 1991 and sold Hannah's Hunks to Harlequin for their new Love & Laughter line on January 18, 1996, at 10:15 in the morning, while watching The Price Is Right, her new most favorite show!
