American Saddlebreds
This page shows you a part of my collection of Saddlebred models.
This is "Another Flashback", a 10 years old stallio. He was created from the Breyer LB Morgan by Carol Hale and Lisa Sents. He has already won some championships since I bought him last year.
"Golden View´s Rising" is the Breyer Saddlebred Weanling SR `96 by JC Penny. I own almost all models from this mold, except "Kentuckiana", the JAH SR, Sears SR bay pinto and last years QVC SR dapple gray. He´s such a cutie: "Rose Parfait" - a C. Liddy "Parfait" resin. I bought him in March `99 during the Modell Pferde Fest in Essen. His mother "Steelrose" - a "Rosebud" resin by Kathi Bogucki - is currently being painted by Janis Withcomb. Currently my favourite model is "Bolero Bay Buccaneer". This 12 years old stallion is the D´Arry Frank-Jones resin "Bolero" painted by Janis Withcomb. He won all of his classes at his first live show in May `99 and still keeps winning. "Meander" is the Levade Saddlebred in medium gray. She´s such a pretty model, but it´s very hard to take a good picture of her. Yes, right - one of the good old Hartland 9" Saddlebreds. This is "Justyn´s High Rise". The model was a special run and is number 21 of 250. Unfortunatly, Hartland models aren´t very popular in Germany. I own a growing number of them and I wish they´d become a bit more accepted. "Sultan´s Starmaker" was created from the Cl. Man O´War by german artist Inge Hoffmann. He has a gorgeous shading and was one of my first CM Saddlebred. This is "Pagan Prophet", a 7 years old gelding. I always planned to buy a BHR Saddlebred, but I never could decide which color to choose. When I saw him on eBay for only $40 I couldn´t resist any longer. "Visios Vale" is a representative of my Little Bit ASB collection, which is nearing completion. I still need the 3 models with the number 9030: bay with black points, red chestnut and palomino. Also needed: JCP `89 SR dark bay. Make me an offer! This is a big one: "Anacacho´s Alchimie". Janis Withcomb turned bisque ceramic into gold with this guy purchased through eBay. I just devolped his first pix and I´m curious to see how he does in shows! Oh, "Warrior Tales"! I love the color on this mold, his eyes are so beautifully painted! He´s last years Fall Show SR. He makes the perfect match for my palomino pinto Saddlebred Weanling "Warrior´s Heir"!
