Photography aficionados already know that the Factory Photoworks Gallery is a treasure trove of talented, creative photographers, and this dual show debuts the gallery's newest member, Annapolis photographer Sharon Gee.

Ms. Gee'w works brilliantly tackles the technically challenging world of infrared photography, and her small, intimate landscapes of the lush, summer views of Chincoteague Island are quite successful in their ability to maximize the surreal qualities of Kodak infrared film married to superb composition and a natural photographer's eye. Quite a memorable Washington area debut!

Judith Wulff's color work would be slightly whimsical because of their subject (Mexican Volkswagen Beetles) would it not be by the superlative composition and use of color to deliver quite good photographs of an otherwise rather unusual theme. The photographs are a lesson in how a good photographer can tackle nearly any theme and make it work!
