The one time highest scoring defenceman in NHL history also retired as the top point getting defenceman in top level history. Paul Coffey has always answered his country's call to arms and has always produced. Tense contract negotiations with the Edmonton Oilers in 1987 couldn't even keep him from doing his hockey duty in the Canada Cup.
