Known to many as "the Russian Bobby Orr", Viacheslav "Slava" Fetisov was a familiar face around the World Championships, the Olympics, the Russian League, the NHL, and of course, top level hockey since the mid 70's. While other Soviet hockey sensations left as soon as they came onto the hockey scene, Fetisov stuck around. Always on top of the situation, he endured as a piller of defense and a master of timely scoring.
