I would like to give credit and thanks to Egbert vander Tuuk jr who sent my father the family details listed below. I cannot guarantee the dates are correct, but if I read Egbert's dutch correctly, neither does he. Many a slip between finger and keyboard is possible.

I was born in Rotterdam [current date minus 1949] years ago to Jentje vander Tuuk nee Sterk and Teunis vander Tuuk. We emigrated to Australia and arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia on 3 October 1952.
