Yucca Mountain is 90 miles north of Las Vegas on the government's Nuclear Test Site. The Department of Energy has designated Yucca as the world's nuclear waste sewer. However, the mountain is over a huge aquifer (underground lake) that sub-irrigates the entire Las Vegas Valley. And it straddles the Ghost Dance earthquake fault.
The Piute tribe, who lived there first, thought up the Ghost Dance -- when executed properly, all White Men would disappear from the face of the earth. It became a dance craze that spread from Indian tribe to tribe all across North America. The dance may work yet.
The Dept. of Energy hosts tours of their facilities on Yucca Mountain for the unwashed and uneducated. Of course, Cecil & Dipstik were invited. A skeptical Dipstik has been making snide remarks during the tour and the D.O.E. decided to bulldozer him--
