THE
PASTURE
Following
the cute little dragon, you walk into a vast pasture. Off to your
right,is a large barn, which looks freshly painted and well taken
care of. Around the pasture is a pristine white fence, stretching
as far as you can see. Here and there in the pasture, you see
five beautiful horses, grazing in the fresh clover. In the center
of the field watching the horses, stands a slender young woman,
blonde hair awry, hazel eyes sparkling with laughter as she watches
the antics of a young appaloosa filly.
As
the dragon lands on her shoulder, she turns and walks toward you.
"Hello, I am Sapphyre Rose, and these wonderful creatures
are my horses. I adopted them from the Silver
Unicorn,
while I was exploring. You have several choices on where to explore
here. I can introduce you to my horses; or if you'd like, let's
go to the barn
and look
at my beautiful unicorn; another nice place to visit is my gryphons
; or you can
visit my new friends"
As
she turns towards the horses, beautiful golden stallion approaches.
"Hello, please allow me to introduce myself. I am called
Buttermilk. If you would follow me, I will introduce you to my
mares." Looking at Rose, she shrugs helplessly. "He
has the habit of taking control when it comes to 'his' mares.
I suppose it's only natural." Grinning at each other, you
follow Buttermilk into the pasture.
Buttermilk
This
beautiful mare is Sun Beam, her older sister Moon Beam is below
her. Beside Moon Beam is her adorable little colt, Tyger.
And
this lovely little filly is Scarlet Lace. She was orphaned by
a feral creature back on her home planet. Isn't she beautiful?
As
you pass by Scarlet Lace, she gently noses in your pockets. Rose
laughs, and hands the filly a sugar cube. "She's got a sweet
tooth, no doubt. And I suppose it doesn't help that I spoil her."
With that, she turns back towards the barn. "It's been wonderful
meeting you, and I hope you come back soon. Don't forget to sign
in the guestbook. Now I must get back to my chores. Having horses
isn't always fun and games. By the way, the dragon is Bubbles.
He'll take you back" With a wink, she disappears into the
barn.
As
you gaze at her receding back, the little dragon comes up and
says: ((are you ready to go back?)) Staring at him, you decide
there's really nothing left to do here, and you can always come
back later. With that, you reach out and touch the dragon.
