Holiday Rumor

turkey

I heard a rumor the other day,
they have sharpened the ax and headed
my way.

They tried to catch me last
year on this same special day,
but I gave them the slip and
got away.

They settled for a ham and an
Old greasy goose,
thought they had me, but thank
God I got loose.

My name is Tom and I live in
this old shed,
I have a dark red waddle and
a very bald head.

I wish they would settle for a
chicken or maybe some beef jerky,
and leave me alone because I'm just
an old ugly Turkey
