The Crow flies to T.V.
Crow fanatics, get ready to be fed again: A television seriees based on the 1994 movie "The Crow" and James O'Barr's comic book characters is in develpomentfor broadcast next fall. Thirteen hour-long episodes are planned, although it has not been determined yet if "The Crow" will be for network, syndication or cable telivsion. "The series will not be an anthology," said producer Jeff Most who also produce the two crow films. "It will be based on the first film and the Eric Draven character. We'll be devoping the charcters of the poice officer, Sarah and Shelly.There will be some characteradditions and some characters in the comic book that were not seen in the screen version."
The television series will not mean an end to the theatrical version of "The Crow". An announcement is expected soon on a third Crow feature film, which would feture a new lead character.
