Mystikal
UNPREDICTABLE
MYSTIKAL
No Limit Records

Mystikal's second album and first under the No Limit label is definitely unpredictable.  Mystikal's move to No Limit was a great idea.  This album features seventeen in your face gangster rap tracks and it's all good! "Unpredictable" was produced under the skillful eye of rapper: Master P. and is laced with his unique style that has made No Limit Records one of the hottest gangster rap labels on the market today.  The tracks are energy-filled and fluid.  The lyrics roll off Mystikal's tongue, like a ball on a hill.  He's that smooth and he's got great rhythm, for a hardcore rap artist.  My favorite track, "it yearns" is an upbeat
retro-funk tinged track, that at times defies the laws of mixing - and is truly an amazing piece of work.  "still smokin'" is a trance-like track, that'll leave the smooth melodic background vocals of "still smokin'" flowing through your mind for days.  "ghetto child", is a slow, deep-bass laid-back track - the lyrics really make you think about growing up in "a messed world" - the ghetto.  It features Master P and Silkk The Shocker who combine to put out one of my favorite lines on the album: "In my life, I thought Bill
Clinton ran the country, 'til I find out that Bill Gates had all the money."

If you're a gangster rap fan and you liked Master P's latest release, then this album is a definite must get.  It's amazing.  "Unpredictable" will firmly establish Mystikal as true rap artist, worthy of praise.  Hopefully No Limit Records will realize its potential with the fan base and as such will give Mystikal the recognition he deserves.  Watch out for Mystikal and No Limit records.  They are definitely on the rise!  If you're a gangsta rap fan, then this album is definitely worth checking out.
