The other day I was sitting on the sidewalk when this gerbil walks up and sits down next to me. He looks at me and asks in a deep, harsh voice, "You Amanda?". "Yeah", I reply, noticing the tiny gerbil Marlboro tucked behind his ear. I assumed him to be a heavy smoker cause he had quite a raspy voice. So he remarked upon my shoes, pulled a small folded piece of paper from his satchel, and handed it to me. I tipped him with some popcorn and he promptly left. The addresses for these pages were written on the paper.
