John Travolta
John Travolta was born February 18, 1954, in Englewood, New Jersey, USA.
He was the youngest of six siblings.
He's a member of the Church of Scientology, which he says has helped him maintain a normal life despite his fame and success.
He's married to actress Kelly Preston, which he has married twice. Their first wedding on September 5, 1991, by a French scientologist minister, was declered illegal. They re-married legally a week later, September 12, 1991.
The couple have a son, Jett, born April 13, 1992. Jett was concieved during a weekend at Demi Moore and Bruce Willis's house.

Mini Biography
John Travolta first gained fame as the swaggering Vinnie Barbario on the TV-series "Welcome Back, Kotter" from 1975. In 1977, he parlayed his teeny-bopper fame into a big screen career with the disco-blockbuster "Saturday Night Fever". He languished in light dramas and TV-movies in the 1980s, but started a comeback in 1989 with "Look Who's Talking". He further resuscitated his career with an Oscar-nomination for his role as a heavyset sympathetic hitman in "Pulp Fiction" in 1994.
