This award was started on September 15, 1997. I know there's a million awards out there to be won but this is my way of saying I really like your page. I have seen so many great pages and in my opinion, signing the guestbook or sending the owner an email doesn't complete the process. If I think the page is great I'm sure others will also and for that the people who take the time and effort of building a great page should be recognized. So that's why I made my award to give out. I enjoy visiting all the pages that are submitted. Sometimes they aren't to my liking but I still enjoy the visit. :)

Although pages of just links have helped me out in the past, that's not what I'm looking for in a great page. So if your page is just links and nothing else you don't have a very big chance in getting the award unless the design is amazing.

I like to feel like I know the person who is writing the pages. I always enjoy reading about a person or people, or even the family dog. Pages that are made from the heart are always best in my mind.

Please don't have adult material on the main page. If your site does contain adult material (i.e. pornogroghy, foul language, refrence to drugs or liquor) please mark it very clearly and make sure that you add a caption saying a person must be atleast 18 years of age to enter that area. If I see adult material on the main page or the links are not clearly marked your request for the award will be denied!

I really hate links that don't go anywhere so please make sure all of your links work. I do understand that some things change so one or two bad links I can live with but anymore then that is to much. Your request will be denied but you may request again once they are fixed.

One other thing I hate is going to a page where the graphics don't load. I have had trouble once in awhile with one or two little graphics not loading but when it's more then two little graphics it's to much, your request will be denied and you may request again when you get them fixed but not until.

Oh yea before I forget, sign my guestbook, it's not one of the requirments to get the award but it's always nice to see another note in there. :)

The last one but one of the most important! I am not always a patient person so please don't load your pages with a million graphics. If it takes forever to load I will probably get sick of waiting and leave without even looking at the page.
