Let me state here and now though...I am NOT an experienced traveller!!! In fact, I'm so INexperienced that I overplan!! *LOL* So the information here is a result of some frantic chasing around the net, and believe me, those that are insecure about a venture will research it to death! *LOL*
Okay so let's start off!!! One of the best ways to find out about where you're going....or to find someplace interesting to go...is to read about it! Check out Barnes & Noble for a VAST selection of books!!! *S*
There's also a huge selection of online resources available too!!! You can research almost any destination using MS Expedia Travel.
If flying is your game *shudder* *LOL* check out Chicago's O'Hare Airport or Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Can ya tell I'm from the midwest?? *Grin*
If you like to get down to the nitty gritty and see what the airlines are offering...check out this list of some major airlines!! *S*

I returned from a WONDERFUL trip to Sweden on May 10th. I can now tell you that world travel is NOT that difficult nor anything to really be concerned about! *S* Just prepare for it then sit back and enjoy!!! I must say that passing through customs in Sweden was one of my greatest fears *grin* It turned out to be SO layed back that they never asked a question...just a peek at the passport and a pooch to sniff my bags!! *LOL* So take it from a truely nervous traveler...there's NOTHING to worry about!! *GRIN*
