For Mom

I want to thank you Mom....for giving to me gifts more precious than any material objects.
You have taught me so many things......
To have the stregnth to stand up for what I believe....
To live my life as I see fit...not as others do....
To give as much or more than I get...
You have given me the courage to be who I am and to be proud of that. I have learned through you that life is too short to grumble about our misfortunes....the way you have never let anything stop you from doing what you wanted...it's a standard I will always try to live up to. You have put up with my wicked sense of humor...my moods...lived through my stormy teens...and in the end....still loved me.
Mom....the only and best thing I can say right now is...I love you... I will always have the memories of you...but the best ones are the of the last nine years...we grew so close...fought hard against your illness's...and now....the time is right to stop fighting. My prayer for you Mom is peace...you've earned it, and when the time comes for you to walk the rest of your journey alone...know that you are in my heart...I will miss you.....
