TOURING
HAS BEGUN!
Welcome to the Official Jonesbox Webpage! We have now added new
things to accommodate your web surfing needs! Jonesbox is expanding
so quickly, we can hardly keep up with the changes. So you’re here,
and you want to know about Jonesbox? More can be found on us in
the biography section, but here’s a quick overview of the current events.
As most of you know, Jonesbox is now touring the midwest. In
September, we were notified by way of our lease expiration that we
we needed to go out and play some gigs (It’s been a while), so we left.
Before we left, we passed out mass flyers, sold many CD’s, and pretty
pretty much told the scene we were dippin’ cause the scene dipped us.
Our plan is to roll through Indiana and play a few frat gigs to drum up
the local scene there (It’s where Dave grew up), then we’ll be heading
out to Roanoke, VA to play the scene there. Many thanks to Z101.1
and Leonard Carter for the support, as we’ve busted on to MTV and
Local Radio in Virginia. After playing a few shows in Roanoke, we're
leaving to play North Carolina (no dates set yet), and then it's back to
to Florida to reclaim this lame music scene. As far as the album
goes,
we’re set to re-record “This Human Condition…” sometime in January
(Look for the new one in Spring of 2000). We’ve had much success
with
with the old version, but as we no longer have Kris in the band, we
must
record new vocals. Right now, all three of us are singing live, so
we may
do just that on the new version of the album. Don’t forget to check

out our links on the side of this page, as we’ve added many features to
the
page. We’ve updated some tour pics from September (Johnny’s Rockin’
Bistro), and others, so check those out. Also see our MP3 section,
where
you can hear a minute of each song FREE! We’ve also been added to
Riffage.Com, CDNOW, Amazon.Com, and many other online webstores,
so search for Jonesbox anywhere on the web and you’ll find us. Thanks
