Imagine this:

The day is April 8, 1994. The time is around 2:30. You're just getting home from school. You're tired and lazy as always, so the second thing u do after walking in the door, after grabbing a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos™ and a Coke™, is turning on the TV, followed by plopping down on the couch. The channel you see on the cable box reads "30" which is MTV where you live....but channel 30 doesn't really look like MTV usually does. I mean it has the same people you would normally see on there, but it's not the music videos or even the shows that have recently started to air on there. What you see on the tube just doesn't look right, it gives you a bad feeling. A sharp pain shoots down your back all the way down to your heel. You hear Kurt Loder's soothing voice coming from the TV. From what you can get out of it, it seems that someone had died. "Just another death to add to the hour, what the big deal?!? Get on with the music here," you think to yourself, though that sharp pain makes it's return to your back. For some odd reason you go from frankly not caring at all, to full attention on the TV, not even one of those Cool Ranch Doritos™ could break your concentration, trying even harder now to find out what had happened. That's when your life would take a complete U-Turn. You see a grungy, rained-on street appear on the TV. You could have sworn that that street was staring dead at you, maybe even trying to tell you something...something like "go away, you really don't want to hear this", but it was all the way in Seattle, Washington. "Hey, that house looks very familiar! Where have I seen that before???" you think to yourself. The camera's there in Seattle move to show the emotion on all the different faces, but all have one thing in common--they're all sad, very sad. Most even crying. Right then, once again you get that sharp pain slithering down your spine. "This can't be good! This can't be good!" you keep repeating over and over in your head. You've just braced yourself for any horrific news that might hurt you, but nothing could actually prepare you for this news. You sit, you wait, you wonder. The wondering that had you turned inside out would hold no longer though. "If you've just now joined us and are wondering what's going on, Nirvana guitarist and lead singer, Kurt Cobain was found dead from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot womb to the head. His body was found around 10:15 this mourning on the second story green room of his garage," were the words said by Kurt Loder. Your heart sinks. The news leaves you speechless, and with hole in your soul. Right then a tear roles down your cheek. It's followed by many more, though you remain speechless, soundless, motionless. Many questions were still to be answered, but who could possibly know the complete truth. You signal your mind to shutup for a second as you prepair to listen to Kurt Loder once again. "The 27 year old rocker was reported missing 3 days ago after leaving a drug rehab facility. This is definitely the biggest loss to music since John Lennon. We'll always remember Kurt Cobain for songs like 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', 'Lithium', and 'All Apologies'. Rest In Peace Kurt Donald Cobain." As he finishes the last line of the broadcast, they show the heartbroken faces on a few of his devoted fans. To break your silent streak, you manage to shriek out "Oh yes, we will always remember you, Kurt....."
