The CHAOS™story began back in the day(5 years ago to the unhip)
when John and Rick joined forces with Corey and Scott(who had already began CHAOS™ w/ other guys)
It was a bumpy start, but things have came together nicley in these last 5 years.
Chaos™ began playing shows w/ the current line up halloween of 93 and the responce was awsome from the start.Chaos's first large victory was a total house cleaning at the battler of the bands,then
after numerous local shows we entered the Rodell Records Talent search, well, we blew away the field and swept
the Metal catagory with the first ever perfect score 40 points, 10's in performance, writing, arrangment
and overall technical skill. Our prize? well, we were featured on the Rodell compalation release "Raw Cuts: Music of the next generation"
we were featured with the other winners from there respective catagories. After that we got some airplay
from 98.9 The Rock here in KC(thanx Valerie!) we were the featured artist one year after our first gig on halloween(exactley one year after)
from there we got reviewed in the now defunct FEH magazine, mentions in Banzai magazine, and an A+ review from Europes largest metal zine " Loud & Proud "
We have headlined Lakestock in Osage Beach Mo.(party cove rulez!) Headlined the MidWest Metal Fest in Vandailia Mo., played numerous
gigs at Nieners( Hi Steve) Beamers, JC's south, Star Bar and Bodee's in Warrensburg Mo. Opened for NAPALM DEATH(god fathers of death meatl, Barney is still a wanker!)
at the Kansas Metal Fest in Lawrence Ks. last July. We signed a 5 yr deal w/ Necro records but that did not pan out( tiny tiny label, that about says it all)
