Brought over by Liverpool from America
just before last Christmas, after waiting several weeks for a work permit
to be granted, the Reds' manager, Roy Evans, had a tough decision to make
- should he draft Brad into the side straight away or should he give him
time to settle, especially with David James having kept seven clean sheets
in his last ten games.
In the event, the American international 'keeper eventually came into
the side when James hit a bad run, and played the last 11 games of the
campaign. A big man, who commands his area with a huge competitive spirit,
he did not have an easy time of it when he arrived between the posts, due
to several changes in personnel in the back four, but survived with flying
colours.
Is registered with the club until June 2001. Stop Press: Played once
for the was eliminated from the World Cup at the Group F stage of the competition.
