Signed on loan from Liverpool last
November, at a time when all three goalkeepers on Swindon Town's books
were simultaneously struck down by injury, Tony, a David James look-alike,
had a trouble-free first appearance in a 1-0 home win over Bradford City.
But a disappointing performance next time out, when top-of-the-table Town
slumped to a 4-2 defeat at Stockport, cost him his place in the side and
he went back to Anfield without adding to his two starts.
