Track listing of Walkin' On The Sun single:

As the CD didn't have liner notes I had to resort to my bionic supersensory hearing; alas, Steve's voice is still too fast for me.....I would appreciate it if anyone can help me out.
SORRY ABOUT YOUR PENIS
Thank you, AmishOutlaw, for filling in most of the blanks!I caught you looking at yourself
So whatever will you find
How did you get your hands so tight
Kicking legs were __________
It's January you've got a tan
I've got to hand it to you man
You're the bully of the ball
Trying to stand tall
Thinking you can take them all
Sorry about your penis (3x)
I caught you looking at yourself
I bet you got overhead cams
First license plates and all
Just __________ ten feet tall
I bet you say you do it a lot
I bet you don't do it at all
Always buildin' enough
You might as well f****** give up
Sorry about your penis (3x)
Sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry
Sorry I feel sorry so sorry
You don't get it you'll never will
From __________ overkill
See it as a game as it was a sport
The only winner is a case of warts
Who __________ lookalike
Drink em up drink em up Fight! Back! Fight!
Move __________ tongue-in-cheek
To recreate oh please oh please
Sorry about your penis (3x)
Sorry about your penis (3x)
DEAR INEZDear Inez
Your exterior is so cold
Your story is told
I've heard it before
You want to get out
Don't want to be down
Tied to the ground
You want to slip out
You want to go and have your fun
You got a son
You don't want none
Don't want any part
You're breaking my heart
As he wanders off
He ain't got none
Dear Inez
The kid's in trouble in trouble
He's gotta push or be pummeled
You want to go and do your thing
You never had a wedding ring
You got something
Why's everything so rough
Why's everything so hard
Why's everyone so wrong
It's not me
You've got to believe
I never knew love
I only know how to push and shove
Give me a break
All I have I have to take
Never know handouts
You think you've got me figured out
This is what I'm all about
You want to go and have your fun
No regards for anyone
Don't feel nothing
Why's everything so rough
Why's everything so hard
Why's everyone so wrong
So wrong
So wrong
So wrong
Dear Inez
Your exterior is so cold
Dear Inez
There's something about you
You want to go and have your fun
You got a son
You don't want none
I've been there and I'm trying
And I don't give a damn
Gonna cash my check
Money in my hands
No thanks the world is ______ okay
by me
If you're gonna blame it on society
All I can comment right now is in the song Dear Inez. I'm not too keen in my Spanish but in my language Tagalog (a language influenced by Spanish) "ines" [ee-nes] means "irritated" or "irritable." I really think Smash Mouth is playing on words here as Inez sounds like a woman who is always blaming her misfortunes on the world.
As for "Sorry About Your Penis," I'm not sure if I would really want to comment... ;) Though I must say, the imagery of push is here again.
These are very cool songs and I find it a shame that they are not being released in North America. Do they (whoever "they" may be) feel that the American public will be traumatized at the "pure punk" sounds of Smash Mouth? These are the tunes that ought to smash the mouths up of those "punk/ska" purists out there who think Smash Mouth and other "commercial punk/ska" groups are--in the immortal words of Reel Big Fish--"Sell Out." By the way, I don't see a difference between "mainstream" and "alternative"--music is music; if a person wants a certain band to have a small fan following and to have its music heard by as few people as possible then that person is nothing but a greedy, self-centered idiot.....Anyway, I sure hope that Smash Mouth will release songs like these in their next album! They rock!
I should have just erased that last paragraph as this single has already been released in America. My import version did not have the photo of the band though. Anyway, I decided to fool around with that scanned single cover which you now see throbbing on the top of the page.
