DARKNESS IN THE MOON

The band was formed in 1997 as a BLACK METAL band, influenced by Therion, Satyricon, Emperor and Destruction.

The lyrics according to them deal with astral stars and the moon among other topics. They plan to make their first recording in the beginning of the year 2000, although some recordings exist now and are being traded. They plan to record with Sound Engineer Victor Flores (El Salvador's equivalent of Scott Burns). The members of the band are the following (left to right in the picture):

The band objective according to Jairo is to, "talk about the darkness and the moon". Part of this mystical thinking is the use of CORPSE PAINT, and according to Irving "is part of Black METAL" and Jairo adds, "this is the real face of people". They believe that everyone can think what they want and extract from their songs any message they find acceptable. The band has played live in San Salvador and San Miguel (capital and mayor city in El Salvador , respectably).

This is one of El Salvador's new Metal bands in the Salvadoran underground scene and a promising band in El Salvador's BLACK METAL SCENE.
