MARTYRUM was formed from a death metal group
called DISEMBODY. After some line - up changes in DISEMBODY, the
band decided to change name and to play black metal instead of
death metal.
"We paly fast and furious black metal with an evil northern
spirit!"
Their debut demo is called "Frost Born" and is released
via DEMONION Prod. It contains two MARTYRUM styled tracks and
comes with a great full - coloured cover for the price of 5$. The
tracks are "Vinterskogen" and "Sword of
Sacrifice". Recently they recorded three more songs which
are a hell better than the ones of "Frost Born" not
only conserning the compositions but also the sound quality. In
these three songs someone can clearly detect that the band likes
STORM and SATYRICON. These songs will be released in a demo form
under DEMONION Prod. once again! The band plans to release them
also in a split demo form with another swedish band with a black
/ white cover and limited edition. Choose thou destiny!!!

1) EMPEROR ARNHEIM... COULD YOU TELL ME MORE
ABOUT YOURSELF?
I`m 18 and live in Govle (Sweden). I started playing the bass for
about 4 years ago. I soon realized the music that I wanted to
play, it started with death metal and moved on to black (some
former groups I joined are DISEMBODY, CURSED, S´BLOOD which I`m
still in.).
2) BUT NOW YOU ALSO PLAY IN MARTYRUM... RIGHT? TELL ME ABOUT
THIS BAND.
MARTYRUM is now my main band. It was formed from the ashes of
DISEMBODY. When the new guitarist Darkens started with us, we
changed style from death to black metal (the satanic way). The
present line - up is:

Beuwolf - vocals
Nariluggaldimmerankia - drums
MARTYRUM has only lasted for about 6 months but we have produced
several songs already.
3) ARE THESE SONGS RELEASED IN A DEMO?
Yes and it`s released via your label (did you know that?). The
demo contains only 2 songs. It`s due to the costs of the
recording (real studio that is plus a technichian).
4) FUTURE PLANS?
Well, to promote the demo and go gig around. Then to get a record
deal, we are also coming out on a cd with other death / black
metal bands. It`s going to be financed by ourselves.
5) GIVE US SOME MORE DETAILS ABOUT YOUR BAND, S`BLOOD. WHAT
DOES IT MEAN? U TOLD ME THAT YOU ARE INFLUENCED FROM ZYKLON - B?
S`BLOOD means god`s death. We mix black metal with grindcore and
make a kind of war music... It`s pure fucking armageddon! Well
ZYKLON - B is our main influence in the concept
6) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF BATHORY`S PRESENT IMAGE?
I think BATHORY always had had a good image and I like their
songs. We have made a cover on the song "The Return of
Darkness and Evil" too!
7) OH! DID YOU? WILL YOU EVER INCLUDE IT IN A DEMO OR IS IT
JUST FOR GIGS?
Well, just for gigs. I think we will never record it.
8) WILL YOUR NEW DEMO BE RELEASED VIA DEMONION PROD?
As soon as we record our new songs I will send them to DEMONION
and then it`s up to Alex to realese them.
9) BY THE WAY... THIS INTIE IS TAKEN VIA INTERNET. WHAT`S YOUR
OPINION ABOUT IT?
Well, I would rather do this by phone or by a meeting. All this
fucking typeing is so fucking harsh!!!
10) YES, BUT I MEEN ABOUT THE INTERNET AS A WHOLE IDEA... DOES
IT OFFER ANYTHING TO HUMANITY?

SUICIDE BECAUSE OF A HERESY THAT SUPPORTED THAT THE COMET HALE -

YOUR OPINION ABOUT RELIGIONS?

humankind is evil that`s what I think.
12) SO... YOU DON`T BELIEVE IN ANYTHING? WHAT DO YOU SAY THEN
IN YOUR LYRICS?
We sing about the north and the evil spirits among us (Satan yes)
but it is only what surrounds us.

He! He! Well, just ROTTING CHRIST. I`m more intrested in the
scene up here in the north.
