I believe you probably don't know about As Roma teams, here there is the story of my best club.
Associazione Sportiva Roma was born in 1927 when 3 Roman teams were melted togheter (Roman, Fortitudo and Alba). The first president was Sacerdoti. In the first years the team was good and in the 35/36 seaoson the team was the second in Italy. In the 41/42 the club won the league. The following period was the worst because As roma went in a minor league (serie B) in the season 51/52. Since 1960 there were good results and the team played finally good in every season and in the season 60/61 won the Uefa Cup. From '70 to '80 there were discreet results. But the best years of the team were from '80 to '90. Infact, in 82/83 season As Roma won again the league and in the following years there where very good results with many Italy Cups and good placements in the league. From '90 to '97 the situation changed. The president Viola died and there were many troubles in the club. But in the season 94/95 and 95/96 the team played fairly good getting the Uefa Cup access twice. In the last season the team was really poor and As Roma didn't get again the Uefa Cup access. Now the best player in the team is Francesco Totti, an excellent and young forward. But there are also a lot of good player as Abel Balbo, Paulo Sergio, Aldair, Cafu, Candela, Tetradze.
