As you read somewhere on my other links , I dont really like this album ...  
Dont be angry , whomever you are that reads this now I have my opinions .  
This album came out too fast and only a year after "Handful Of Rain" that was a great  
success for Savatage !  
I dont know if Savatage released this album too fast because of the successes of their  
last release or they just had the material all ready ???  
"Dead Winter Dead" is a good album , dont get me wrong , But I think some of the songs  
should not be there .  

This album is based on the war at Sarajevo and songs like "Sarajevo" or  "One child"  
are really good and touching and really makes you think of the useless war there .  

The album was done in a hurry (I think) , The quality on the album isn't perfect and a lot  
of sounds are just fading out in the mix .  
The guitars really sound the same on all the songs , Com'on , dont use the same  
Distortion on all the songs/solo's ...  
I really hate an album where the guitars sound the same on all the songs .  

If you really Love Savatage I know you have this album/gonna buy it soon ,  
But in my Savatage collection this is the C.d I listen to once every 2 months or even less :)  

I am not mad at anybody !!! Savatage you are great and no band can always  
make great albums that will sound cool to every fan , There are ups and downs  
in this business .
