MEGADETH Guitarist MARTY FRIEDMAN, who has been with the band for over ten years, has 
chosen to leave the group to pursue other musical interests. Frontman, Dave Mustaine comments 
"Marty is an incredible player and has been a keystone in Megadeth.
We are sorry to see him go but we wish him all the best." Guitar wiz, Al Pitrelli (Alice Cooper, 
Savatage) will fill in as the band winds up the first leg of their domestic RISK tour which runs 
through January 21. Megadeth will continue to tour domestically and internationally with stops in 
Japan and South America, returning to the US in the summer. Originally reported to HardRadio 
weeks ago by former Marty Friedman manager and SHOCKWAVES section contributor Bob 
Nalbandian, this press release is courtesy of V Entertainment Network and Capitol Records.

Metalium - "Millennium Metal - Chapter One" , Savatage's Chris Caffery side project is out now .
The next part is taken from "Metal Hammer" :
With musicians like Chris C from Savatage and Mike Terrana (axe Axl Rudi Pell and Malmsteen)
This was sured to be an explosive one but unfortunally it didn't deliver the goods .
Its a power metal album and the guitars deliver good sound but still it doesn't sound like
a team work , instead each of them tries to take the show to his own hands . 
After all its a good album but If it was more of a team work than it would sound better .
The fact that the album is recorded by very well known people the anticipation was so great ...
Hope to hear from them more stuff in the future ."

Other news by HardRadio releases are :
A Savatage album is expexted this month , I am not sire about it .
I read that the name of the album is - ".... and mad man" or something .

Well Savatage Chriss .C. is working on a new project of his own this days .
He plays and wrote some songs for a band named "MetaleNium" (sorry if I wrote it wrong) .
He sais its a fast/power metal kind of band and he seems very pleased with the stuff they
wrote , let's hope it wont take him away from Savatage .
Also Savatage members  were in a raise found against drunk driving and helped raise more
then a 1000$ , in the hard rock cafe .
Now I can be wrong but I read some where that some of Cris Oliva guitars were up for sale
in that event ...

 Well it seem the Europen tour has been canceled ...
Al has really damaged his arm and will have to have a Cast on for about 6 weeks .
No need to worry , as soon as the cast is off Savatage are going on the
road again .
Al finished their last tour with a lot of pain and understood he cant continue in his current
condition ...

- The new album name is - " The Wake Of Magellan " ... (cool , right ) . 
  The album was already released in Japan and over Europe . 
- To the Israeli fans , I can't say a lot ... I haven't seen the album in stores yet , but as soon as I see 
   it  and of course BUY it , I will update you on where to find the album . 
-  As I read over the net , the album doesn't contain no Extra bonus tracks , that's a shame 
   because Savatage Fans really got used to buy special editions etc . 
- The album already got to a nice place in the charts in Germany and Japan and the 
  sales rating for the first week are very impressive .
