Cover from "Once Dead"

"Given the time to repent they fail to reply. To the just and holy one they now await to die. God's enemies will lick the dust, a fact that they futily deny. He holds them in derision, in vain they rage against the Christ..."

Destruction Comes-1991
Released Upon The Earth-1992
Vengeance Rising Anthology-1993

This Band has probably the sadest story in the long run. Lead singer and founder of the band, Roger Martinez, has turned his back to God and is a puppet of Satan now. The original cast of Vengeance split up after the album "Once Dead". The former members formed the group Die Happy, while Roger made two more albums as Vengeance Rising as we know it. Rumor is he has kept the name and is realsing an album set for for who knows when(he keeps changing the date). Don't buy it. Very Satanic. I was at the Vengeance Rising web site and I couldn't believe my eyes. Roger has really flipped and is filled with so much hatered. We really need to pray that God reopens Rogers eyes and saves him from the path he is on. Any way "Human Sacrifice" is by far my favorite album. I thought Vengeance was the hardest rockers out there. I would say that title goes to Extol now. "Once Dead" was a good album too my favorite song being The Abyss. "Destruction Comes" was good but it seem to lack the power of the first two albums. I think alot of the songs sound the same too on this album. "Released Upon The Earth" comes close to the first two Albums. My favorite track is The Damnation Of Judas And The Salvation Of The Theif. I would still Highly recommend any of these 4 Vengeance Rising albums.
