--yah, sorry about the phone conversations being what they were - this show was, according to my source, majorly chopped all over the place from start to finish... M&W intentionally set out to make it as bad and as horrible as it could be to frustrate CC and it definitely worked...
--and BTW, Mulder's last line in the script was "But it's mine too..." in answer to Scully's comment about "It's my life, Mulder..."
--*A lot* of things happened in the original script that never made it to this version. There was a big up against the wall sex scene that was cut much to Glen Morgan's chagrin - he saw it as a huge double standard.
--Glen Morgan thought up the Moose and Squirrel thing on his own (you'll notice there is no actual comparison of Mulder and Scully to Moose and Squirrel, except in our heads) :-)... at some point during the writing of the episode, he found out that the fans liked to call M&S Moose and Squirrel, and he thought it would be fun to leave it in. See... Great Minds *Do* Think Alike! and that's WONG Brothers, not WRONG. Hmpf. In fact, the full title is the Fabulous Flying Wong Brothers.
--The Memento Mori scene with Bill Jr. was confrontational, but a lot of it dealt with Melissa and her death being caused by Scully's job at the FBI which her brother did not approve of.
--BTW, the first take of MM (The Kiss) was just a hug... then on the next take, DD kissed her on the top of her head... the third take was on the top of the head, and the forehead... then next all of the above and then on the lips...
--Well, we *almost* met Bill Jr. in "Memento Mori" - the scene was even shot, but it ended on the cutting room floor.
--BTW, my source does say that CC cut the kiss... but everyone, and I mean everyone on the set is up in arms - it was adlibbed and fit the scene just perfectly, but of course CC freaked and pulled it - but you never know what might happen with him these days...
--scene setup: Scully is in the hospital and has made friends with the one remaining MUFON woman from Allentown; a bit of a bonding thing with her since they're both dying... one time she goes up to the other room to find her friend and Scully finds only an empty bed - her friend has died. Mulder at the same time walks into Scully's room and finds it empty - and panicks; thinking that she's died or something almost as bad - and races around, eventually to find her in the empty room where her friend had been... Scully breaks down totally... she's afraid to die, and tell him exactly that... but she also tells him that whatever time she has left; she wants to spend it with him...crying all the while... Mulder pulls her into his arms for a hug, ala "Irresistible" - then he pulls back, kissing her on the top of her head... then puts a kiss on her forehead... then down on her lips for about three seconds... and then pulls back away from her; not too far... swoon... now I must say that the kiss was totally adlibbed; and I don't think it came off as being a sexy kiss as much as a "I love you" kiss; if that makes any sense...
--the climax, where Mulder and Scully embrace had "Vince Gilligan" (if you'll pardon the expression) written all over it. Except that Chris Carter wrote it.
--only a weeny one, but at the start of this episode, there is a brief, off-hand reference by Mulder to Scully's birthday, which is of course, soon Don't blink, or you'll miss it - here's hoping it plays a lot more 'shippily than it reads!
--about the new two parter coming up in a few weeks??? first, yes - Max Fenig will be back... like that was a surprise with the rerun of FA so quickly.. but riddle me this, romantics... I give you clues... an almost plane crash... an Apollo 11 key chain... and someone dies... (oh, like this is something new in thiles, right?)
--(Apollo 11 keychain) This one I know! This is the birthday present that Mulder gives to Scully. It was either a necklace or a key-chain, so I guess it's the latter. Shame :-(
--Tempus Fugit is superb. The opening of Tempus has Mulder and Scully in a bar and he gives her a snowball (cupcake) and she makes a comment about how this is the first time in four years he's remembered her birthday. He gives her some kind of necklace or keychain or some kind of Air and Space Museum souveneir as a present, but they are interupted by a woman who turns of to be Max's (from Fallen Angel) sister. No cancer comments yet.
--yah, Pendrell dies... he takes a bullet meant for Scully in the bar scene where they're celebrating Scully's birthday and literally dies in her arms... which is probably where that speech she was reading for the SAG awards was talking from.... and the Apollo 11 keychain? well, Mulder launches into a long story about when he first saw them walk on the moon how that changed his whole life; and how he realised that it changed a lot of people's lives as time went on... and he tells Scully that she's changed his life just as much... and yes, a hug... swoon... and who says that CC doesn't see the writing on the wall??? grin...
--Can anyone confirm the new rumor that they are filming 2 endings in fact, and they're not going to have him die after all?
--There's a kind of cute moment between M&S where he puts his arm around her. They follow up on the whole birthday present thing. Besides that, we're back to some of the classic X-Files: UFOs, government, and scenes that may give you a fear of flying.
--I heard, from a source of my friends (BTW this is a dangerous way to get info -- a friend of a friend...but...this one seems pretty legit, but then again...oh well...just a warning) who claims to have read all the scripts through Synchrony, that this little arc involves time-travel and parallel dimensions. Sounds interesting...
--I have heard that they have changed the really kewl ending where Mulder says that he gave Scully the keychain because the Apollo 11 had meant so much to him once, and he wanted to show how much she meant to him and had changed his life, which would have been really 'shippy. So now, Scully gives the Gillian speech at the SAGS which we thought she said at Pendrell's funeral to Mulder, <<"That what can be imagined can be acheived. That you must dare to dream, but there is no substitute for perseverance and hard work-and team work. Because no one gets there alone. And while we commemerate the greatness of these events, and the individuals who acheive them, we cannot forget the sacrifice of those ho made these achievements and leaps possible.">> to try and understand why he gave her the keychain thing, and he has no clue what she is talking about and says he bought it because it was neat, is all. Much inferior and less shippy. Boo hiss. May I ask if Sheryl has any updates on this?
--Per my source/script, there is NO SCULLY BIRTHDAY PARTY in Tempus Fugit! In the beginning M&S are in a bar, ON BUSINESS. At the end, Scully is in the same bar, ON BUSINESS!! Pendrell is in the bar at the end, but it is purely coincidence and he asks her if he can buy her a b-day drink. That is it.There is NO PENDRELL DYING IN SCULLY'S ARMS. We do not find out Pendrell dies until the ep. Max.
--regarding the current rumour that somehow the script for the two parter has been changed all over the place... well, I've heard nothing - not that it's not possible, but I haven't heard anything about it - but I'd like to point out the obvious fact... the speech we heard GA give at the SAG awards was obviously from the funeral, to me at least - which means that they were shooting/almost finished shooting that particular show - remember, GA's due in town at the end of the month to shoot with Sharon Stone an therefore they're on hiatus probably within the week or so... so the show has already been put in the can, so to speak - and somehow I doubt that the late discussion on the death of Pendrell would somehow bring them to the point of pulling it out and rewriting and reshooting it to the degree of change that's been suggested here - I know the Kiss in MM was cut and was an editing decision, but the changes here would require major restaging and reshooting - and it's very unlikely... at least to my POV... it's possible that we're thinking we have too much control over CC, IMHO... while he decided to cut the Kiss at the last minute, somehow imagining that CC would graciously call everyone back in and reshoot the entire show to make the onliners happy is a wonderful thought; but unlikely... sigh... 'cause then we'd still have the Kiss... grump...
--Max is dead. He dies in the crash. Agent Pendrell is shot. We see him in Scully's arms after she kills his assailant, but we don't see him die. Mulder in a wetsuit - 'nuff said. ;) Mulder dumps Scully again, but this time he sends her back to DC with a witness needing fed. protection. Last scene we see involves a UFO - I don't want to spoil the "shocker".
--Scully shoots the assasin but doesn't kill him. He runs out the door and Scully chases him but when he is no where to be seen she goes back in for Pendrell and tells the parametics what do to. She trys to keep a glaze on Pendrell's eyes to give him straignth telling him "We haven't celebrated my birthday yet. Im not letting you off like this Pendrell......" and he winses a smile. She grabs napkins off the table and opens Pendrell's shirt and throws the napkins on him. Her nose starts to bleed so she wipes her nose. The parametics take out his gun and Scully takes it saying "He's an FBI agent and he's not going to die." Scully gives orders what to do because Pendrell has a bullet in his right lung. Skinner comes in as they take Pendrell away telling Scully that the federal marshal has been canceled and the person she is with AND Mulder have been places under military arrest (I think it was military arrest). Anyway later in the ep Scully tells Mulder: "Pendrells dead Mulder".
--And someone asked just where we got this info about the "parallel universe": someone on AOL posted Sunday morning that Fox "slipped" and showed a commercial for "Synchrony" that morning instead of one for "Unruhe". Apparently, this commercial said something about Scully being afraid when she discovers Mulder is dead - but in a parallel universe. (wish they'd shown this promo instead of the one we did get - would have been much more interesting)
--And while I'm at it... just want to add, I thought Darin Morgan was great too. That _was_ a performance from him. He is NOT like Eddie in real life.
--at least one of the funnier bits in this episode was apparently an ad lib, or last minute change, because it was *not* the same in the closed captioning as in the audio. When Mulder goes upstairs and all of the stuff falls out of the closet, the closed captioning has Scully's voice *first* calling "Mulder?" and Mulder replying "I'm OK." Of course, in the audio Mulder says he's OK first and then Scully calls out "what?" ...which is a much better joke. <grin>
--the imposter actually tries to assume Mulder's identity - to the point of going into his apartment and checking out his life and so forth; with a lot of humourous scenes - DD had a wonderful time doing it; because it gave him a chance to see Mulder's life from the outside - and what a strange life it is, too... anyway, he shows up at Scully's apartment with a bottle of wine... and they settle down on her couch for some talk and wine... and eventually he moves closer and closer down the couch on her - and she's not exactly leaping out of his way... and of course, just before they Kiss... and at this point she's still got no idea what's up with him... the real Mulder breaks in and grabs the guy... and the last scene ('cause the apartment scene is right at the end, natch.. make you watch the entire show...) Mulder's got the guy in the interrogation room and is trying to talk to him... the guy comments that while he's been a loser by birth, Mulder's a loser by choice... I'm paraphrasing at this point, but that's the gist of it... and after that Mulder leaves the room and he and Scully exchange looks... sorta "What if?" looks; which definitely doesn't rule out the possibility, IMHO... and no, of course - there's no scene of Scully discussing that with Mulder... see the fanfic run... and she's not saying anything like "oh, I knew it wasn't you"; which means to this old Dragon that she really was gonna accept his move - irregardless of it being the real Mulder or not, we know that she's sure as hell interested... grin.. and don't feel too sorry for Mulder - heck, even losers can change... with the help of a good woman... snicker... that's all there is, folks...
--Someone who has apparently seen this episode, and who is a die-hard NoRoMo to the extreme in her view of the show, is exultant over the ''almost kiss' in the SP teaser, and appears to be laughing her socks off (not really meanly) at the idea that we might spend the week discussing this and getting our hopes up. I have a terrible fear that we may be in for a fall here. Soemone mentioned that it might all turn out to be horribly Naxi, and it looks like they may be right.
--So, as far as 1013 is concerned... there IS going to be a season 5. Also, he did say that we MUST watch "Small Potatoes," because DD is hillareous...
--It's Vince Gilligan's next script, and from what I hear (which isn't much), it's somewhat humorous. And Vince can do humor... his movie scripts are mostly in the dark comic vein.
--the premise of this is that a series of babies being born in a small town are being born with tails and look slightly alike to each other... chuckle.. which bring M&S to town... and of course the "villian" is played by Darin Morgan - his secret is that he's a lonely, sad man who has the ability to change his face... what he's been doing is morphing into the husband of the woman he's interested with and sleeping with her... thus the babies... now the best part... he takes a fancy to Scully... "We are not who we are..." - Hint... and yes, from what I hear it's gonna be an interesting threesome for that scene... ;-) grin... (Dragon curls up on sunny ledge and basks in the beams...) let the games begin...
--chuckle... yes, it's Mulder... and supposedly he walks in while "Mulder" is having a definitely romantic moment with Scully - who's confessing deep thoughts to the man she thinks is her partner... I don't know if we're looking at any confessions of love or what, but definitely deeper thoughts than "gee, Mulder... I wanted to drive this time..." but before anyone freaks, no bedroom scenes... promise... although I do believe there will be bedroom eyes... and man... I'd hate to be in that guy's shoes when Scully realises what a fool she looks like... remember, this woman packs a big gun... grin...
--As I understand it, according to the *script* it wasn't Mulder, but the person who killed 'X'. However, presumably either in shooting the scene or editing it, they decided to make this more ambiguous for whatever reason, if now it is impossible to tell who it is.
--Yes Scully is out of this one. She is only mentioned once and the reason is because her cancer is spreading again. Marita C is working for CSM and so is Skinner.
--On April 27, at episode's end, we learn that the U.N. operative--who has served as a clandestine information source and facilitator to Agent Mulder--is actually in league with his enemies, the diabolical Syndicate. Or is she?
--Scully is not in the Zero Sum script. I think that this makes it highly likely, that and the fact that GA was filming "The Mighty" when "Zero Sum" was filming that she will not appear in the episode.
--Well, I keep hearing rumors that Zero Sum will be all about the Skinner/CSM deal---so I imagine our darling Walter will get big screen time in that one, eh? One can hope.
--Because of Gillian Anderson's movie committments, there's going to be NO SCULLY in either Revenant or Zero Sum
--She said that an upcoming episode will heavily involve Skinner and that the lot had lots of twists, turns and side gigs running through it.
--The episode was heavily rewritten by Chris Carter and Vince Gilligan. I keep telling myself all the good character stuff was Vince's! :)
--Here's some info from XF's assistant editors re DD's strike at the bowling alley (he's such a jock, ya gotta love it). This is taken from America Online. "Eight takes were shot, takes 4, 6 & 8 were printed. Out of those three, David bowled a strike on #4 . We don't know why the director did not print the first three takes, very possibly David did not make a strike but this may not be the case, maybe the camera work, composition, lighting or something or other did not please the director. So, until we speak to the director or the bowler himself, and that won't be until next season, we can't give you a definitive answer."
--I read off one of the AOL folders (meaning take with a grain of salt) that the show went through about a billion rewrites (gee-could that be why it had 15 names?) and that CC did most of those rewrites. I can see that. CC tends to have the characters wax eloquent about their feelings, and Vince shows their feelings through actions. Kinda. :)
--If the rumors are true that this script went through 14 rewrites (even being rewritten as it was filmed!) then all I can say is thank you CC for stepping in. 'Nuff said.
--The word on AOL is that this episode is "Scully-centered." It's also written by John Shiban. Paula, wondering what will happen when John S. comes up against Scully Also heard that the "Tulpa" title was a mistake and should never have been posted on the official website.
--Scully's cancer is addressed, rather poignantly Mulder is VERY concerned Therapy scene Shippers will enjoy this ep
--Demons is sort of a mythology ep that has us question everything Mulder believes to be true in his life. We learn about Mulder's medical history and find that his memory may not be reliable. He also has flashbacks of things he was unaware of, such as the fact that CSM was a family friend. Mulder finally goes to his mother (again for more answers) and in the end we are left with many more questions -- mostly about what the Shadow Syndicate is really about, how Mulder fits into the experiments that have been going on for decades, and what that means about what really happened to his sister. Some of these questions will be addressed in the season finale as Mulder questions his own memories and his own life about what may or may not be real."
--I have heard several different things about Demons. I heard that Mulder is being charged for double murder and looses his memory, and he will be convicted unless Scully quits the X-Files and moves back to Quantico.
--On another note - folks are saying that Demons is going to be Mulder's Avatar, and that the trailer you all saw last night backed this idea up. Should we 'shippers "be very afraid" of that implication?
--In the latest issue of "Wrapped In Plastic" magazine, which includes a regular feature entitled "X-Files Extra", it is reported that Nicholas Lea stated that he will be appearing in the last TWO season four episodes. He made this statement at the "8th Annual British Columbia Card and Comic Show" held 14 February 1997 in Vancouver.
--Check out the cast: Guest cast: Vanessa Morley as young Samantha Alex Haythorne as young Mulder Shelley Adam as young Mrs. Mulder Dean Aylesworth as young Bill Mulder Rebecca Harker as housekeeper Chris Owens as young Cigarette Smoking Man Jay Acovene as Detective Joe Curtis Mike Nussbaum as Dr. Charles Goldstein Rebecca Toolan as Mrs. Mulder Terry Barkley as Officer Irhof Can we say: ANGST FEST! Flashbacks! Samantha! and a young CSM!
--This one looks like a *serious* Mulderangst/Muldertorture-fest, folks. Caption for both: "Scully is concerned for Mulder's well-being when he suffers from a memory loss while investigating a case -- and is the only suspect in a brutal double murder." Pic #1: Mulder & Scully sitting on a prison-bed, looking pensive. Mulder is wearing an orange prison jumpsuit (And while Mr. Duchovny looks *fine* in many colors, can I just say that day-glow orange is *not* one of them? But he still has good hair even in jail. <g>). Scully's got on the standard black trenchcoat, so I assume she's visiting. They're both holding papers. Pic #2: We've got a pic of Mulder (in white T-shirt) sitting in some sort of high-tech medical/torture chair, wearing this very strange-looking mask covering his eyes (like a sleeping-mask, only gray and scary). There's this demented-looking, very-mustached old guy in a white doctor's coat standing over him pointing a scary-looking drill of some sort at his head. In the background, you can see part of somebody in a blue shirt and white T-shirt. Overall, it's kind of an "Unruhe"-ish looking scene.
--since "Demons" (4X23) is about Mulder experiencing a memory loss, maybe HE is going to be abducted/experimented on?
--"It's an episode that challenges everything that viewers believe about Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson), about what these two have been doing on `The X-Files' for the past four years and about whether or not alien life really exists," says Frank Spotnitz, an "X-Files" writer//producer and the scribe behind "Gethsemane." "Besides raising the really big questions about the characters and the series itself, the finale brings both Mulder and Scully face to face with their own mortality. "We found ourselves going back to the very beginnings of the `The X-Files' and returning both characters to ground zero," Spotnitz says by telephone from the "X-Files" production office in Los Angeles. "X"-philes can expect to encounter Scully's brother, Bill Jr. (Pat Skipper), who has been mentioned but heretofore unseen, and another new character Spotnitz won't discuss.
--In the season finale, Scully is in a position where she has to decide whether or not to betray Mulder to save his life. Kinda like Anasazi. Mulder makes a discovery which causes him to question all of his beliefs...Scully has to choose/ Mulder will again not know if Sam was abducted or something else happened. Then they'll pull more little tidbits out of the woodwork that makes Mulder what the Shadow Syndicate is really about and again his entire life will be a lie. Speculation: No mention again! of Scully's cancer and...it may all be an experiment...we find out his mom's memory loss was intentionally removed and perhaps his sister may not be his sister. The first part of the synopsis may change...still working on the ending I guess
--He said that Scully's cancer is getting rapidly worse. Mulder finds an alien body in an ice cave. The scene at the end is Scully coming into Mulder's apartment, and finding a dead body o the floor, dead of gunshot head wounds, and the body is - da da! - Mulder's.
--This is from the official page: "Season finale" (4X24) (Part One of Three) -- The agents' partnership is put to the ultimate test as they face the possibility that their search for the truth may finally have come to an end. The story will continue when THE X-FILES returns in the fall for its fifth season.
--"In the season finale, Scully is in a position where she has to decide whether or not to betray Mulder to save his life...." "Mulder makes a discovery which causes him to question all of his beliefs" "Scully has to decide whether to betray him" "Mulder will again not know if his sister was abducted or something else happened -- then they'll pull more tidbits out of the woodwork that makes Mulder [realize] what the Shadow Syndicate is really about -- and again his entire life will be a lie">
--Access Hollywood previewed next week's TV Guide XF's issue. The cover photo is a fold-out of the cast. Not much said about the contents of the article except that Scully will survive her cancer and the 5th season will probably be the last.
--I got an answer from FOX to my question about a new _Secrets of the X-Files_ show: "No, not this year."
--I have confirmed it with the X-Files office, that Tea DD marriage thing is just a rumor and is not true.
--from a.t.x.f, saw the following: I heard on the radio that David Duchovny is getting married to Tea Leoni on May 6 in New York City. It was announced at the wrap party for the X-Files TV show. Don't know how true this is, but if so, congratulations and best wishes!
--I don't know if this is canon, but as far as I know, the general concensus seems to be that it's because the last word he heard Sam say was taken was his name when she was screaming for his help during her abduction, and being called by his first name reminds him of the fact that he couldn't/didn't save her.
--No, [Ma Mulder's name is] Tena. Source: Chris Carter. :)
--20TH TV INKS PACT WITH "X-FILES" VET GILLIGAN Twentieth Century Fox Television has inked an exclusive, multi-year deal with The X-Files co-producer Vince Gilligan to develop and produce dramas through Chris Carter's Ten Thirteen Prods., which is based at Twentieth. Gilligan will remain with The X-Files while developeing other series."
--Anybody know about this rumor? DD will be one of the characters on the sequel for the Return of the Jedi( I forgot the movie title) to be shown next year. My brother read it on some magazine. Someone confirm or deny please...
--CC himself said he always thought of the relationship as being like the one between the Anthony Hopkins character and the Emma Thompson character in 'Remains Of The Day', which is a bit of a choker.
--May 5 -- last day of shooting.
--I heard a rumor from a couple of different people a while ago that the Uniblonde is going to be featured 'having a social life' with a character but not with FM. But this was still at the ideas stage, so I don't know if it ever got written. Here's hoping it did - and even if it didn't, what fun we can have speculating about who it might be!
--From a press release from Fox concerning sweeps month: "On the XFiles each of the weeks leading to the season finale reveals more truths about the conspiracy that has plagued Mulder and Scully. On April 27 [Zero Sum], Mulder launches a criminal investigation into a bizarre death in which the chief suspect appears to be his own superior, Asst. Director Skinner. On May 4 [Elegy/Revenant/Tulpa], M&S track a series of murders that lead to a home for the mentally ill and a clue that makes no sense: each victim has a purported warning from the dead. Scully is concerned for Mulder's well-being on May 11, when he suffers a memory loss while investigating a case. The agents' partnership is put to the ultimate test on an extraordinary and climactic season finale on May 18."
--Actually, I have it on fairly good authority quite the opposite: [Shiban's} quite internet-literate and he spends time trawling online. So he will have read anything about himself on the newsgroup, if not mailing lists - poor man. In view of which I recently posted to ATX that I hoped 'Elegy' would be everything that both he and the audience hoped it would be, and that my fingers were crossed for him. Something like positive reinforcement! However I doubt he subscribes here :-)
--Okay, I've heard in several places that the movie will be filmed in June. I've also heard that, because they are not using the usual 1013 crew, the producers are scouting locations in other cities (someone on the GA list mentioned they were looking at Dallas/Las Colinas -because of the flat prairie and skyscrapers- to which I say "woo hoo!") with production facilities. From what I hear, it's looking more and more like this will be a really big MOTW instead of mytharc. I think Carter, of all people, realises just how difficult shooting a film like that, a year in advance, would be - not to mention using a different crew who don't necessarily feel the same loyalty. Besides - *prairies*? *Skyscrapers*? I'd be really excited to see them doing something completely different with the external locations, even if it isn't shot where my parents live.
--As to Scully NOT being in 2 eps, I've seen rumors on a.t.x.f that there is a 2 parter where Skinner&Scully are abducted... allegeldy this is a cliffhanger, with Skinner getting shot and us not knowing his fate til next season...
--Fallen Angel is being rerun because it ties directly into the upcoming two-parter. The rebroadcast fee was waived, otherwise we only have the rights to show an episode three times. Chris Carter specifically requested that it be shown since it was first broadcast so long ago, and waived the fee. Well you asked. Did you think I wouldn't have a good answer? :)
--EWwwww.... I thought that one of the worst this year! :-) I think the Mayhew's have one more due this season, but I may be wrong. But just to make you all happy, Uber-Vince Gilligan definitely has one more solo episode due.
--By the way, there's a new writer on staff, named David Greenwalt. He's got a distinguished line of credits -- wrote and directed episodes of "The Wonder Years," and co-created my beloved (and cancelled) Fox show Profit" and also worked on "The Commish." And he's worked in features too -- he wrote and directed "Secret Admirer" and also directed "Rude Awakening." Also wrote "American Dreamer" and "Class." Given those credits, I imagine he is now a producer on X-Files. His first episode is the upcoming "Synchrony," co-written with... Howard Gordon. :) (James Charleston directs.)
--Okay, here's the Who's Who Guide to "Die Hand Die Verletzt": First of all, all the fans who had characters named after them are on America Online. 1. The Ausbury family (Shannon, Jim and the missus -- anyone catch her first name?): Named after Jill, a fan who shares Glen Morgan's morbid sense of humor and taste in rock groups (especially the Ramones). 2. Deb Brown (blonde teacher): Named after "Mrs. Spooky," the co-host of the AOL X-Files forum. 3. Pete Calcagni, school psychologist: named after the husband of a fan noted for being the mother of six children as well as an all around sensible and fun person. She and husband Pete and another couple got to visit Morgan and Wong on the set in Vancouver and I have the photos to prove it! :-) 4. Jerry Stevens, the kid who got killed right at the beginning of the first act: named after Jerry Jones, "FoxxMulder," host of the AOL X-Files forum. 5. Paul what's his name, the school coach: named after someone on this list who's also on AOL.
--From what I heard, a lot of DD's role in "Chaplin" got left on the cutting room floor. Sort of weirdly appropriate.
--but a very, extremely reliable source (think way on the inside) let me know that a Mr. Black (I think he does NYPD Blue right now) is a key contender for the successor of CC, should CC decide to leave the X-Files.
--I heard this on the radio Thursday afternoon and don't know the validity of it, or, if it is true, what the heck it means to the show... a member of the group White Zombie, Rob Zombie (if that is his name) has been pegged to direct an XF ep next season...
