DUBLIN

Dublin's story is a rather sad one.  She was born on the western coast of Ireland, but lived there only a few years of her young life.  In fact, when she was a young hatchling, a mortal disease radically exterminated the other members of her clan, the last of Ireland.  Their leader, who struggled against the disease until it was too late, tried to save the children of the clan, ordering them to leave and go as far away as possible.  Dublin and five of her rookery sisters and brothers found themselves in an unknown human world, painfully too young to survive.  However, they were caught at sunrise on a desert beach and froze to stone. Fortunately (or not), Samuel MacNeil, a museum director from Boston, found the six winged baby statues while on vacation, and planned to bring them back to the authorities.  Since he couldn't take them all at once, he took the smallest one with him, which was Dublin, and hid the others in a nearby cavern, hoping to come back the next day.  Of course, he discovered that the little stone statue was in fact a real living being, a lost creature without any clan, family or relatives, save for her rookery sisters and brothers, which had disappeared when MacNeil tried to find them.  He decided to bring Dublin back to Boston where he raised her, building a tight relationship based on true loyalty.

Dublin is generally in a happy mood, but she still feels the pain of the lost of her clan, a sorrow that follows her like a shadow.  She is an excellent fighter with sharp combat skills, but her will and her rage are probably the most fearsome weapons she has.
