Flicker is a whimsical fae with a taste for mischief and powers involving
color who's lived on Avalon for quite some time. 2000 years in fact, although
he maintains the physical age (and mentality) of an 18 year old.
Trouble is, Flicker has only recently learned he's not a child of Oberon
in the conventional sense - but rather the side-effect of an experiment
gone awry. It turns out that in the midst of a Talency, a contest
of ability amongst the fae, a female warrior named Ladybug was attempting
to imbue a mirror with the power to reflect a person's soul. Ladybug
poured too much energy into the project - and the result was Flicker, who
was born fully grown of body but with the mind of a newborn. Ladybug's
age increased beyond the point of any normal faery and she became mute
as a result of the overexertion - so she reasoned that Flicker would be
best left in the hands of Titania...
