The greek goddess of retribution, the daughter of night. There is little known of this gargoyle's history, all that is known is that she came into contact with gargoyles when Hera, the queen of the gods sent her to kill Tricia to make up for not murdering Hurcules. The female gargoyle was chosen randomly. On Nemesis's first attempt to kill Tricia, Tricia's love and mate, Goliath, got in the way of Nemesis's deadly arrow. Because of this, Hera sent Nemesis after Goliath and his young daughter Angelita. Nemesis, knowing in her heart that they were not transgressors, killed them, but immidiatly seeked out help from Hades and made a deal to bring back Angelita. Angelita then got help from the good hearted Hudson, Tiehl and Demona. Hera, angered - due to the fact that Nemesis had made the deal with Hades to save the little gargoyle, who in turn saved her father. The Queen turned Nemesis into a gargoyle and her hawk Animus into a firelizard, this way "Nemesis could be with the monsters she loved".
Forever a gargoyle, Nemesis receives support from her gargoyle companions,
and will do anything to help another in need.
