She-Wolf was the result of an experiment by professor Clandestine.
Clandestine was a rival of Anton Sevarious, and wanted to improve Anton's
mutates. He did this by injecting the D.N.A of a timber wolf into
a human. Clandestine also created She-Wolf, as a test subject for
a small device of his, which could transport a creature from on world to
another. As the hand held device required someone with human intelligence,
but he didn't want to bother paying a person to test it, She-Wolf was clearly
his ideal solution. She-Wolf was also to be a weapon for him , but
she turned on her master, stole his little toy and escaped.
Because of her wolfish appearance She-Wolf chose to befriend a gargoyle
named Owlean, and several others. Speaking of friends, one person
whom she has a particular friendly bond with is Coyote the trickster. The
two can often be seen
howling
at moons or chasing rabbits and other prey. She-Wolf isn't too keen on
the use of magic. In her mind, nothing gets a job done like a sword and
a pair of sharp fangs.
Although she can't fly (Clandestine decided against giving her wings) and
isn't much for physical strength, her ability for silently moving about
and her keen sense of smell make her excellent when stealth is needed.
One thing She-Wolf has noticed is that her new half wolf D.N.A stirs up
new instincts which she never would have imagined, such as howling on clear
nights, and hunting deer bare handed with her fangs. Likewise, although
she can live anywhere, she prefers the forests of
Canada,
in particular those near her home in the Maritime provinces. For
her weaponry, she carries a sword, throwing daggers and a wrist-fired grappling
hook. Her heart belongs to Don Karnage, a handsome wolf she met in
a world called the Tail Spin universe, during the test try of Clandestine's
device. With her friends,Don Karnage and other wolves by her side, She-Wolf
is a worthy opponent of any who may challenge her.
