It was announced at last weekend's Loving Lucy convention in Burbank, CA that I Love Lucy film editor Dan Cahn and Gregg Oppenheimer (son of original I Love Lucy producer/head writer Jess Oppenheimer) have been granted permission to search CBS' vaults for an episode of I Love Lucy that may have been filmed in color.  If it does exist -- and they are not sure it does -- it is believed that it would have been filmed in 1955 or 1956, when CBS was experimenting with color.  It was probably one of the European episodes.  Stay tuned for more information on this possibly amazing find.
