"CBS Salutes Lucy: The First 25 Years" was a two-hour retrospective of Lucy's 25 years on the Tiffany network.  Desi Arnaz and Vivian Vance.  Clips include "Lucy Does a TV Commercial" (I Love Lucy), "Lucy is Enciente" (ILL), "Job Switching" (ILL), "The Operetta" (ILL), "Milton Berle Hides Out at the Ricardos" (The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour), "Lucy Meets the Burtons" (Here's Lucy), "Lucy Goes to Alaska" (LDCH), "Lucy and John Wayne" (The Lucy Show), "Harpo Marx" (ILL) and "L.A. at Last" (ILL).  At the end of the special, Lucy is given a special award by Jimmy Stewart.  The tribute drew spectacular ratings, but Variety commented that because the "two-hour special was produced by Lucille Ball's production company...the format [was] a little awkward."  This was Lucy's only television special during the 1976-77 season.
