This is a unique production as it is a monologue - the only character being Steve talking to camera. Clive is a policeman, on duty outside number 10 Downing Street. As his job mainly involves letting visitors in through the door and watching for terrorists, he has plenty of time to play with his thoughts. He takes us back over the last few years of his life, why he feels he was never liked and the problems he is having with his wife. However, things change when they have a little daughter and he feels the need to make his mark on the world . . .

This programme is a treat for Steve fans as, for half an hour, you can feast your eyes on him and him only - no jumping to other characters. You also get to see how good he looks in a police uniform! Again, for the lucky few, this programme is repeated occasionally on UK cable channel Carlton-Select.
