Part 3: Conclusion
There's really not that much to say for the conclusion-this story has so many possibilities that the ending really depends on each individual GM. Ultimately, a few days of intense searching and combat pass before Max Sterling and a small squad of VT's come busting in through the mecha entrance and offer up their support. Once Trodell is taken care of, Max will inform the group that the E.B.S.I.S. was responsible for downing both the VC-27 and VC-33...they were working with rouge female Zentradi in female armor...both ships were taken by suprise and the VT escort wasn't able to react quick enough. Ever since then there had been some intense fighting with both rogue Zentradi and E.B.S.I.S. In fact, Max had to fight his way in, and now they must fight their way back out. If you haven't already, you may wish to give the characters some additional weapons or even some new mecha (Trodell's VT if it's still intact). Max leads the charge back out through the long Mecha tunnel, popping out ironically enough about 1 mile west of the downed Zentradi cruiser the characters had taken refuge in back at the begining of the mission. The ensuing battle can involve any number of E.B.S.I.S. & Zentradi mecha...any way you stage it the battle is won when the RDF forces get some major backup in the way of a couple squads of VT's. The characters (if any remain ;) are then escorted back to their original base and granted a heroes welcome!
