Eddie fell to his death and Gallen Lo was persumed to have died also. But in the last scene Gallen Lo is seen leaving the kung fu world with his love, Tsang Wah Sin. RATING (5) It's been a while since I saw this series, so I hope that I got the entire plot right. It was this same plot which did not impress me, because it had been done before already. Apart from that the acting was okay. I thought this was the few ancient series that Gallen Lo performed well in. For some reason he just doesn't have that same on screen presence as he does when he appears in modern dramas. What made this series was that it featured an excellent cast. For some reason Eddie Cheung is always being considered for evil roles, and this is no exception. I always thought that Eddie Cheung was more suited to play intelligent, wise, honest and honourable roles. He has that honest and noble look about him, combined with his tone of voice. Therefore he suits playing a commanding noble role. But all these qaulities enables him to be selected in evil roles where the villian looks like a hero on the surface. He does look convincing in evil roles though, but I would rather perfer that he take on herioc roles as well.
