";No es por ustedes, soy yo el problema. Soy muy timido y no me gustan las entrevistas con fotos"i;. Gustavo Bermudez inaugura su encuentro con los medios de prensa en forma franca (o por lo menos lo intenta). Entre su ultimo programa Laberinto y el que comenzo a grabar, Alas, tuvo unas minivacaciones que supo aprovechar para distenderse y disfrutar de su familia. Tal vez por eso se mostro mas complaciente que nunca a la hora de brindar entrevistas. Concentrado en su nueva produccion, que saldra por Canal 13 en el mes de enero, el galan hablo con La Razon.

-Contento con su retorno a la telenovela?
-
-Nunca me fui. Despues de Alen, luz de luna, que nos demando much’simo esfuerzo, pensamos en hacer algo mas ";tranqui"; que era una miniserie de trece cap’tulos como Laberinto, grabada totalmente en exteriores. Pero tambien llevo su tiempo. Aunque nos sumergimos en ese trabajo sabiendo que ibamos a hacer esta telenovela. Ahora que ya empece estoy content’simo con la historia y confio mucho en los autores (Marcia Cerretani y Enrique Sdrech hijo).

-En Alas participa tambien de la producci—n?
- -En Alen y en Laberinto el canal me dio la responsabilidad artistica a mi. Yo era el responsable pero el productor siempre era Canal 13. Tenia la idea de hacer una telenovela enteramente en exteriores, algo que nunca se habia hecho. Entonces el 13 me dijo: "i;Hacete cargo vos"i;. Por suerte, sali— muy bien y todos quedamos muy contentos. En Alas solo participo como actor y se graba en interiores.
- -Eso significa que va a tener mas tiempo para usted?
- -Me viene bien un poquitito porque estoy contento y orgulloso de aquellos dos programas, aunque tuve la responsabilidad y se lograron los objetivos de trabajo y los personales. El canal, por ejemplo, quiere que haga Alen, luz de luna 2, y el equipo completo tambien, con Hector (Alterio) incluido. Todos quieren hacerla y eso habla de una experiencia positiva. Que Hector, quien no trabajaba en televisi—n desde hac’a mucho tiempo se haya sentido feliz de hacer una telenovela me enorgullece. Yo lo invite y no lo defraude.
- -Para cuando esa segunda parte?
- -Hay que ver cuando la podemos hacer. Los actores ser’an los mismos, igual que los autores y el equipo. Vamos a ver que pasa con ese proyecto...
- -Laberinto cubrio las expectativas?
- -S’. Funciono bastante bien. El canal estaba muy contento con el resultado. Ibamos en el horario de mayor rating de Telefe. Sabia que no ibamos a competir pero quer’a tener una buena respuesta de publico al ser una opcion diferente.
- -Le interesa el rating?
- -No me modifica en nada. Empiezo el programa en el lugar que me toca y lo hago con la misma energia si tiene un punto o 40. Me comprometo con el trabajo y no tiene sentido que este pendiente del rating.
- -Que paso por su cabeza cuando Gabriel Corrado fue a hacer una telenovela (Hombre de mar) tambien casi enteramente en exteriores?
- -Hubiese deseado que tenga un mejor destino.Quiero que a todo el mundo le vaya bien porque en la television hay lugar para todos. De todos modos, no compito con los colegas. Los que compiten son los canales.
- En ningun momento penso: ";Yo fui pionero en esto"i;?
- -(Duda antes de contestar) ...Pero esta bien. Venia incentivando eso en el canal desde Nano.Claro que fui el primero. Yo invitŽ al 13 a salir al exterior. Fuimos pioneros y ser eso nos metio tanta adrenalina que nos fue barbaro.
- -Tuvo que aprender a pilotear un avion para componer este personaje nuevo?
- -No. Habia iniciado un curso hace muchos anos con un amigo porque me gusta. En Alen tambien hice cursos de parapente y de rafting. Si lo disfruto,lo hago. A lo mejor aca, si da y me entusiasma hacerlo, me mando.
- -Va a volver a incursionar en la produccion teatral?
- -La experiencia de Romeo y Julieta, por suerte, salio muy bien. Asi que es muy probable que si. Pero este ano no va a ser, eso es seguro.

-I never was. After Alen, luz de luna,that demanded from us a lot of effort, esfuerzo, we were thinking about doing something more "i;calm"i; that came out to be a miniserie of 13 epizodes like Laberinto, it was filmed all of it outdoors.And it took its time . Althoughwe submerge in this work we knew that we had to do a telenovela.Now that it had started, I am very happy with the story and I trust very much the autores (Marcia Cerretani y Enrique Sdrech hijo).

-In Alas you participate also in the producti—n?
- -In Alen and id Laberinto the chanal mgave me the artistic responsability .I was th responsable but the producer always was Chanal 13. I had this idea of making a telenovela , all of it outdoors, something that was never done before. So chanal 13 told me: "i;it is all yours"i;. For my good fortune, it came out just fine and we all were very satisfied. In Alas I participate only as an actor and they film indoors. .
- -This means that you will have more free time?
- -It was fine for me because I feel very sutisfied and proud about the 2 programs I have done, although I had the responsability and we acomplished the objectives of the work and the persons involved. The Chamal , for example, they want me to make Alen, luz de luna 2, with the same actors , with Hector (Alterio) included. Everyone is talking about doing it and this shows that it was a good experience.That Hector, that did not work on tv for a long time , was very happy to make a telenovela , it made me feel real proud.I had invited him and I was not kidding.
- -When will be filmed the second part?
- -We have to see when we will be able to do it. The actors will be the same , and the autors also.We will see what will happen with this project..
- -Did Laberinto cover all the expectations?
- -Yes. It worked very good. The chanal was very sutisfied with the results.We got to the best hour of Telefe ratings. I knew that we had no competition but I wanted to have a positive answer from the public for doing something different.
- -Do the rating interest you?
- -No they don't mean anything to me.I start to do something that interests me and I do it with the same energy also if it had 1 punt or 40.I am compromised to work and I don't see that it has anything to do with rating.
- -What were you thinking when Gabriel Corrado made a telenovela (Hombre de mar) also almost all of it outdoors ?
- -You all were wishing that it will get to the bestdestiny. I would like that everything , everywhere will go fine because in the television there is a place to everyone.Anyway, I do not compit with my coligs. Those that compit are the chanals.
- Have you ever thought: ";I was the first to do it";?
- -(Hazitates before he answers) ...But this is fine... Lets think it over in the chanal since Nano.Sure that I was the first. Chanal 13 invited me to go out and make a novela at the outdoors.We were the first and it gave us very much andernalin and we were great.
- -Did you have to learn how to fly a plain to become this new person?
- -No. I had a course many years ago with a friend because I liked it. In Alen also I had courses in parapente and rafting. If I enjoy it , I do it. Atleast here, if my enthusiasm lets me to do it , I do it.
- -Will you be involved again in the production of teatra?
- -The experience of Romeo and Julieta, for me fortune, was very good.There for it is probablly that I will do it again. However not this year. This is for sertain.
