Let's Make a Difference!

'JAG' has brought us countless hours of entertaiment in the last few years. We have speculated together, made fun of ourselves, discussed the story lines and the characters hundreds of times, made new friends and made our 'JAG' family on the net a fun group to belong to.

But as we joke around about JAG, we should also think about the real men and women that have given their lives for us.

So, Let's Make a Difference !

This page is dedicated to the very real cause of our

Many JAGniks first became really aware of the plight of the families of POW/MIA's by watching Harmon Rabb's obsession in the search for his father. For several seasons we were a part of Harm's personal grief. We saw how the unknown status of his father affected him deeply. Finally in the season premiere of JAG (9-98) we found out about Harmon Rabb Sr's fate. Finally Harmon Jr. had found closure.

Now it's time that we look at the reality around us. Harm and Harm Sr. are fictional characters in a weekly TV show. However around us are hundreds of families of MIA/POW's, that still suffer not knowing the fate of their dear ones. So let's take a look at the real "Harms" whose search have not ended and sadly, for many of them probably never will.

One of our fellow JAGniks knows how this feels first hand. Please check her site out and learn more about her efforts and her MIA husband, T/SGT Richard M. Cole. We have adopted Richard, won't you at least take the time to learn more about what you can do to make a difference? We owe it to our men and women in the military. Let's not forget who our real heroes are.

Yes, "JAG' has been a lot of fun, but it has also brought some of us closer to this important issue. If just one of our fellow JAGniks gets involved in this cause, then JAG has served not only as entertainment, but also as a tool to making a difference in the lives of those who have paid the highest price.
