That night, at dark, Blue was woken. ''Blue,'' it said softly.
''What? Who?'' she asked.
''It's me, but don't make a sound.'' It was Zoot, so he was ok, Blue Mist followed Zoot's quiet footsteps over to a stream, where they sat down.
''Blue Mist, why did you run off like that?'' Zoot asked.
''I, well, ermm, you see.......It was because of you and Zoot Crazy.'' Blue spat it all out, very fast.
''What about us?'' Zoot said, then paused '' OH! You mean, us going out?'' he asked. Blue Mist nodded sullenly.
'' Blue, we can't go out, you're only eleven!'' Zoot was sort of angry, '' For god's sake!'' He was angry now, and shouting '' I DON'T LOVE YOU!'' he shouted, '' IF YOU WANT A BOYFRIEND GO OUT WITH KC!!'' he screamed, and scowled at Blue Mist evilly. She didn't have to take this! She ran away, she didn't know where she was going, she didn't really care.
Why did he do that? She thought, what was the point? Blue was almost throwing up, she was so sad, her life was meaningless, suddenly, she tripped.
''Zoot! you're alive!'' Zoot Crazy flung her arms aroung Zoot, and they kissed.
''Where's Blue? Do you know, KC?'' ck!!! asked.
''No, haven't seen her, she's probably gone to get food.'' he replied.
Zoot kept silent, he had liked Blue Mist, but she was annoying, and also, he didn't love her. If she died, that was her problem.
By the next day they were worried.
''Where is she?'' Zoot Crazy asked Zoot, like he should know.
''W..W.. why are you asking me?'' Zoot stammered.
''Because you're our leader!'' Zoot Crazy said.
''Oh, well that's ok then!'' Zoot replied, he went to kiss her, but Zoot Crazy backed away, something was up.
''Come over here Zoot,'' she said, gesturing away from the camp. '' You know where she is, don't you?'' She knew he did.
''Fine then! I don't know where she is, but I do know why she's gone!'' Zoot was mad at Zoot Crazy, but he explained everything, very reluctantly.
''I can't believe you!'' Zoot Crazy raged. ''You knew she was already sad about the dogs! How could you?!''
''What? I don't love her, she's a little brat!'' Zoot wasn't hiding anything now!
''Well, what's she done to you? Been your friend? Saved your butt a few times?'' Zoot Crazy didn't know how she could be going out with him! ''What kind of a human being would do that?'' she asked, and stormed off.
''But baby....'' Zoot knew he was losing.
''You're dumped!'' she shot back at him.
Zoot Crazy found Blue lying freezing cold in the river. She thought she was dead, or unconcious, but then she blinked.
''Why are you doing that?'' Zoot Crazy asked.
''To kill myself.'' Blue Mist replied.
''But why?'' Zoot Crazy asked again.
''Why am I alive? There's no point.''
''Yes, there is, if it makes you feel better, Zoot's dumped.'' Zoot Crazy thought Blue Mist would dance and sing at that, but all she got was, '' You keep him.''
''I don't want him!'' Zoot Crazy bellowed.
Blue sat up, '' You don't?''
The two of them talked, Zoot Crazy talked about how men were useless, and Blue just nodded. She would always love Zoot, he was the best thing on earth for her, but now she was further away from her dream of her and Zoot than before she had met him, at least before she could dream.
Two days later Zoot had only gotten himself into a deeper mess with Zoot Crazy, she hated him more every day!
It was Zoot and blue's turn to get food that night. Half way back, Blue couldn't help but notice Zoot's eyes glittering in the sky, her knees went to jelly again, but this time she fell.
''Are you ok?'' Zoot asked.
''Yes, I'm fine I must be tired!'' Blue Mist lied, picking herself up.
''Blue, this is the weirdest thing ever, but, I think I love you.'' Zoot almost hit himself saying that, he hadn't meant to say it, but it was true.
''Zoot, I know you found it hilarious the last time you hurt me, but it wasn't funny.'' Blue Mist thought it was all a joke!
''No, I mean it!'' Why had he said that? It'd been his chance to escape!
''You do?!'' Blue mist's eyes lit up, and Zoot realised that backing out now would be cruel.
"I mean it! So would you go out with me?''
''Y....Y....YES!'' Blue danced on the spot, she had never been asked out in her entire life, and now, the one boy she liked had asked her out!!! She didn't know where her heart was now, but she guessed that it had probably visited the little aliens on Mars!
''Hello?'' an unsure voice asked.
''Who are you?'' Blue Mist had never seen this person before, she wore jeans, a purple crop-top and blue trainers. Her hair was shoulder length and blonde, she wore no make-up, apart from a purple star on her left cheek.
''I'm Scaramouche.'' she said, as she approached Blue. Blue realised she was about 6 foot, she looked about the same age as Zoot.
''Hi, I'm Blue Mist, I'm in the Full Moon tribe.''
Blue Mist was cut-off by Zoot ''What do you want?'' he said rudely.
''I was wondering if I could join your tribe. I saw you and Blue Mist walking up that hill, you seemed happy." Obviously Scaramouche hadn't seen what happened after.
''How do you know her name?!'' Zoot asked protectively.
''She told me,'' Scaramouche laughed.
''You can join, providing Blue agrees.'' Zoot said. Blue had never been given this sort of responsibility before.
''Blue?'' Scaramouche's future was up to this girl.
''Of course!'' Blue Mist was happy to see a new face.
Scaramouche then added ''I have some food and blankets back there, I'll just go and get them.''
''Food?'' KC came over at the mention of food. Zoot explained to Zoot Crazy, KC and ck!!! about Scaramouche, they didn't seem to mind.
That night there was lots of food and fun. The Full Moon tribe didn't stop talking, and Blue Mist sat next to Zoot with her head on his shoulder, nuzzling like a foal.
The girl, Tart, was very tall, with blonde hair that came down to her knees, only there were lots of pink and purple streaks in it. She was about 16, her grey eyes had a sense of evil about them, and her skin wasn't visible. Well, not her face, because of the make-up. Her crop-top barely covered her nipples and her belly-button was pierced........20 times. Her short skirt showed her legs. Well, it would have done, if it weren't for the glittery baby pink boots which came up to her thighs.
This Tribe, 'The Studs', had been watching The Full Moon Tribe for 2 days. They knew them well, they wanted them, they wanted to mess them up.
The next day, ck!!! was the first one to see anything. He saw Tart and came running, with the Studs following him. Blue Mist was nearest, she alerted everyone. There were six against five, but two of those six - KC and Blue - were very young, who would win?
''Oh my god,'' Blue whispered. Blood was all over it's neck, it was dying. The four other dogs ran off. Blue Mist went to the dying dog, even though it had tried to kill her, she cared.
Half way up the hill to their camp, everyone knew the story.

''How old are you Blue?'' Scaramouche asked.
''11'' Blue replied.
''11! You look much older, and you're going out with Zoot!'' Scaramouche was shocked.
''Yes.'' Zoot Crazy said sadly.
''Please be my friend again,'' Blue Mist begged.
''Ok,'' Zoot Crazy agreed, sort of smiling.
''And mine?'' Zoot asked.
''Just be friends?'' Zoot Crazy asked.
''Yes,'' Zoot answered.
''I'd like that,'' Zoot Crazy smiled.
Episode 14
You would think that now everyone was friends it would be a happy ending, but far from it. No-one could see the five gangsters leering in on the Full Moon Tribe's gathering, but they would know about them soon enough.
''AAWWW, how sweet!'' the only girl mocked. '' They're making up!''
''Yeah, they'll soon break-up,'' a boy called Slime laughed at the girl they called Tart.
Then the leader added evily '' Literally.........'' The five of them laughed.
The leader, Rocky, was small but about 19. He had short black hair and tattoos all over his body. Slime had, like his name suggested, long, slimy green hair which knotted and tangled, and his face was disfigured by an 8 cm long nose, warts, spots, and other disgusting things. Another one, named Ring, wore heavy wrangler boots and combat clothes, and his ears, well, it was a miracle he could hear for all of the rings!
The last one was called Randy. He thought he was really cool, it was obvious - he had a leather jacket, leather boots, diamond studded sun-glasses (in Autumn!) and leather trousers.
''Isn't that police hat boy hunky?'' Tart crooned. ''I'll keep him in a cage!''
''His name is Zort, wait, I think it's Zoot,'' Ring answered.
''I want the eye-hat boy's hair!'' Slime laughed in his snorting way.
''It'll be fun winding 'em up!'' Randy kept cool to the situation.
The Studs didn't bother with introductions. Tart went for Blue Mist, grabbed her neck before Blue could react and started strangling her, but it wasn't Blue Mist she wanted. Zoot saw this and was about to punch Tart, but that was what she wanted. Randy came and knocked Zoot out, then grabbed Blue and started kicking her about like a ball. At that moment, Ring and Slime had been distracting ZootCrazy, ck!!! and Scaramouche - they weren't fun to play with. Rocky had gone to get KC, which proved easy. That part of the plan had been child's play, they had planned it by not having to confront Zoot but instead, by picking on the weak links - one of whom they wanted, the other who would be more tormented by being a bystander.
''Let's go!'' Rocky signalled.
Randy stopped kicking Blue and picked up Zoot, the other Studs followed.
Blue Mist got up. ''ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!'' she pitifully cried.Episode 15
''ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!'' Blue Mist screamed. ''Help! Someone!'' she called, but everyone was too stunned to move! ''Follow me!'' she ordered, they were not getting away with her friends.
The Studs were running towards the City. The City? Oh great! Just what they needed, more Top Hat! The Studs never tired, they ran, fast all the way to what was obviously a secret hide-out............. an old beat up shed.
Blue Mist and the rest of the Full Moon Tribe were waiting outside.
''Come On!'' Blue Mist urged them
''It must be a trap!'' Scaramouche was sure. Blue agreed in a way, how could it be this easy, but she was willing to die for Zoot.
''Well, I'm going in!'' Blue Mist said, cheeking death. ''Chicken?'' she asked. She hated what she had just said, she thought people who did that were wrong, but it was saving lives.
''I don't care what you say, I'm NOT going in there!'' ck!!! said stubbornly.
''And I don't think you should,'' Scaramouche warned.
Zoot Crazy tugged on the sleeve of Blue Mist's jacket. ''Don't!'' Zoot Crazy said, but Blue tore herself free, and went up to the big, wooden doors of the shed. She opened them up. ''Hello?'' she asked. It was fine, she turned around to the others.
''Come on in!'' she reassured them.
They looked at each other, but them when they turned back to the doors a look of horror crept over their faces.
''What?'' Blue asked and, as if to answer, she heard snarling. She swivelled around - five dogs stood there, hackles up, back legs tense, jaws slavering. One lunged at Blue Mist, grabbing her arm. She shook it off and quickly shut the doors, this was her fault, not the others. The dogs leapt on Blue. All she could think about were her dogs that had died, and four of the dogs backed off, whimpering, like they understood. The other though, wouldn't stop, it tore at Blue visciously, until one of the dogs who understood went for it's throat. It lay there dying, whimpering.
The dog looked up to her with sad, dying eyes, and whined. Blue took off her denim jacket and wrapped it around the dog’s neck. She stroked it, always scared someone would come. For about a half hour she sat there, stopping the bleeding and suddenly, as if by a miracle, the dog got up. Blue stood back, would it attack her? It looked at her, and padded over to her, and jumped for her neck.
‘Oh no,’ Blue thought, but all it did was lick her. She started laughing, it's tongue was tickling. She looked at it properly for the first time - it was a young, male German Shepard with a long, grey sable coat, and a chain tied around it's neck - it had rubbed him terribly. She took the chain off, there was a raw mark around his neck where it had been, he was also very thin.
''It's ok, boy. I'll look after you, but first I have to get my friends.'' Blue Mist then remembered Zoot and KC.
The dog bit, but not hard, onto Blue Mist's hand and started dragging her along until they were standing in front of two cages and five laughing youths. In the cages, were Zoot and KC.
''Blue!'' Zoot yelled. Blue saw Zoot, he had lipstick drawn all over his face.
''Good boy, Sable, kill!'' shouted Rocky, sneering.
Sable growled, but not at Blue Mist, at The Studs.
''NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!'' Slime yelled as he was dematerialised by Sable.
The remaining four huddled against a corner. Sable rammed into Tart and grabbed the keys she was holding. He then tossed them with his mouth to Blue and barked - it was a signal for her to leave. She unlocked the cages and ran out, she was worried for Sable though. She pushed open the doors, everyone stared in amazement at her.
''What?'' Zoot Crazy began.
''I'll tell you later, just run!'' Blue Mist ordered.
''What about Sable?'' ck!!! asked.
''I...... I don't know,'' Blue Mist bit her lip. ''But I will be grateful to him all my life.''
''He must have been highly intelligent.'' Zoot, who was now de-lipsticked said.
''Yes,'' Scaramouche agreed.
Blue Mist turned her head, sadly. To her great joy, she saw a greyish figure running up the hill. ''Sable!'' she called. Sable ran past her, and grabbed the hat with eyes on it that KC always wore, revealing, his new hairstyle.
''Pink,'' Zoot Crazy reviewed it.
''Yes, Tart's idea.'' Zoot remembered.
Everyone laughed as Sable brought the hat over to Blue.
''You're one of us now Sable,'' Blue Mist smiled. Then added, '' Thank you.''
''Got any green hair dye?'' KC questioned.
