Tribal Gather Ring

Tribal Gathering

When sites started popping up devoted to The Tribe, this page sprung up to help guide you to them. The links are here and a quick review of what you can expect when you get there. These will update according to the sites changing and improving, so bookmark this page now! Please note, there are now so many fanpages I can't keep track! Please let me know of any I have missed or of updates.

The Official Site
As you would expect this is a huge site with comprehensive information on the cast and plotlines, interviews, encyclopedia, trivia, behind the scenes and back story. For communicating with other fans there is the bulletin/message board and live chat. You can also join the fanclub via this site.

The Channel 5 Tribe Site
For series 4 you get - strange picture selection thing, a bit about the Tribe music CD and a competition.

Lucy and Laura's site - Tribetastic
An irreverent but affectionate look at the phenomenon that is The Tribe. Stopped at end of Series 2 and will not be updated.

GameFace's site - The Unofficial Tribe Page
Now Shockwaved (yes, you need the plug-in to view it) and updated. Takes time to load but this looks great and works much better than previous incarnations. Some things come up a bit small - such as the lyrics and bios - but the photos and guestbook launch a new window, which is great as you are even warned about that!

Tinycracker's site - Warpaint and Hair Dye
Some parts of this site are fairly standard such as the cast/characters and songwords, but there are some nice different things too. Features some warpaint 'stencils' and "You Know You Are Tribe Obsessed When..." The gallery seems to be broken currently.

Carl King's site - The Babble Zone
Now de-zoned and quite massive. Lots of stuff in a similar vein to the official site - character profiles, pictures, song words, episode guide, links, quizzes, fanfiction, poetry etc.

Orca's site - The Doorboy
The pictures, as usual, are mainly standard fare but are divided into Good and Bad Guys and Past Members. The unique feature of this site is some cartoon renderings of your fave Tribe members (plus an obsession with the casino Doorboy!). There is an RIP page for Amber and Zandra too.

StarDreamer's site - Power and Chaos
Being revamped.

Chris Gornell's site
Mainly a whole bunch of pictures divided up by character but Mac users are still denied - the photos are viewable only on a PC :(

The following sites are more devoted to one particular member of the Tribe...

Blue Crowe's site - The First Caleb Ross Fan Page
Contains info, interviews, pictures and links but hasn't been updated in a while. Some smart custom graphics but they are a little large and do take a bit of time to load. "The C Files" is an original touch.

Riikka's site
Includes quite a lot of general Tribe information but focusing on Caleb Ross with news and other bits culled from Tribeworld, pictures, all the usual cards and messageboards and a detailed breakdown of what you get in the Tribe Trader. Riikka has started transcribing Series 2 episodes and this site is updated fairly often. Uses scrollable frames.

Carnage82's site - Dwayne Cameron Fan Page
Pictures (small and take a long time to load due to quantity), info and links, plus the answers from his live TribeTalk question session. Simple presentation which now has some funky buttons. There is also a page of Lex pictures.

Mel's site - Michael Wesley Smith Fan Page
Quite a plain site in grey and light blue but contains a fair amount of information, pictures and FAQs.

Lucy's site - The Unofficial Michael Wesley Smith Fanpage
Contains pictures and information on MWS, plus more general Tribe stuff. Uses a splash page entry and a rather busy background consisting of tiled pictures which can make text a little hard to read. Interesting to see a section on the author herself.

The Tribe's Shopping Mall And finally... reviews of this site!!!

Hi scaramouche,
I have a few minutes break in our production schedule and have been reading some messages and I was intrigued to read yours.
I think your site is great and I am very proud to see fans becoming proactive in setting up their own Tribe sites. So well done.

CK!!! says:
This website is packed full of info about how to dress like charaters from the tribe. She keeps up the same standards and always give fair help and comments for other sites. She has brill ideas and tries and puts them into action, always with success like the tribal gathering ring.
This site is cool.

Danny Alexander says:
The three most striking things about Scaramouche's site:
1) There is plenty of content, and it all looks good.
2) Perhaps more importantly, it is largely fresh and new, not just stuff taken directly from the official site. The pictures are labelled as 'alternative', which is true. There is a wide range of tribe related material, from fan fiction, articles, voting and even a page on how to look like the characters. It's the effort that's been put in to produce and collect new content which set this site apart from others.
3) The links page, complete with reviews of each site, is the best available reference point for tribe related information. And with the comments works much better than a webring on its own.
The only fault that can be found is that the background is grey and not purple. Oh well, you can't have everything.
