A group of us who thought Dr. Franklin was just too gorgeous, smart and interesting, figured it was a damn crime he didn't have his own estrogen brigade. Basically, we wanted a place devoid of people sticking their fingers down their throats or turning up their noses in disgust when we decide to wax poetic or philosophical about our favorite character on the show. Besides, since Marcus Cole's got his own estrogen brigade, why shouldn't Dr. Franklin have one? They were *married* after all. Yish!

We've been known to go on and on and drool over the character from time to time. Okay, lets not kid ourselves, we do this about 70% of the time on this list. The other 20 percent we actually spend talking about Richard Biggs and what he's been up to. Just a warning : if waxing poetic (or downright blunt in some cases) about Dr. Franklin or Richard's physical and intellectual attributes bothers or embarasses you, you may want to think twice about joining this list.

Although this is a list mainly about drooling over Dr. Franklin, we do discuss what's happening with and on Babylon 5, plus exchange info on what Richard Biggs is up to in his acting career. Yes, we do realize that Richard Biggs is the actor, and Dr. Franklin is the character. If you're interested in info about Richard Biggs, check out a homepage dedicated to him by a fan who is so devoted, I don't think anyone can touch her.

In case you're wondering, no we're not part of the official fan club, and nor am I interested in running it. There's a wonderful lady who's been running Richard Biggs' official fan club for quite some time, and she's doing a bang-up job of it. Besides the fact that this graduate student has next to practicaly no free time left, I'm allready committed to running one official fan club. It's about time I got a chance to run a list purely for fun, and this is it.

First and foremost, this is a private list. So, what does that mean, you ask? It means that no one from the outside can post to this list unless they have been subbed to the list by yours truly. This protects the list from spammers, interlopers, idiots obsessed with bashing B5, and general reprobates and trolls with nothing else better to do than screw with folks having a good time. Rest assured you can post and have fun with the utmost confidence. Also, if you are subbed on to the list at one address, you can NOT post from another.

You are required to be at least 18 years of age to be on this list. First of all, if you're 18 you're an adult so if someone gets bold and posts a steamy piece of fanfiction about Franklin, or if the list gets into some mature discussion, neither the list nor I am liable if your morals get corrupted. I can't help it if you're exposed to slash fiction, fantasies involving various edible substances, or the discussion of two (or more) males or females getting it on. Sheltered this place is definately not.

Okay, so you're probably asking yourself, "Is Richard Biggs on this list?" I do know for a fact that he is online, but out of respect for his privacy I'm not confirming or denying the fact. If he shows up on the list (which will shock the hell out of me) and says, "Hey guys, I'm here!" then the secret is out. Other than that, if he is on the list, I'm sure as hell not letting it slip unless he tells me to. So, if and when that day happens, for God's sake, PLEASE don't e-mail me asking if he's subbed to the list yet or not. My lips are sealed with duct tape about this.
