The Movie Review By your Friend Pat.
##Warning## This is purly my opinion and the fact that it is mine, it may vary to what you beleive is correct, also i am known to over exadurate, but it is clearly noticable. Oh yeah spelling is not my strong point...
10 things I hate about you. You can clearly tell from the title that it is about relasionships, and problems that evolve from them etc.... But what movie our days is not like this? 10 things however, has taken such a seriouse issue and placed it into a well develpoed, funny, entertaning film about teen relationships.
We firstly enter the moive with a new student to a new school. Camron (Played by third rock's Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a transfer student who had no intentions at all for relationships until he laid eyes on Bianca Stratford (Played by Larisa Oleynik, *s*). Bianca's role is simple, to be beautiful, a part that Larisa plays very well. She is also as all 16 year old girls are, Daddy's little princess. However, she has an older sister Kat Stratford, who unlike here ever so popular younger sister, is socialy unpopular. Kat (Played by Julia Stiles) is very sarcastic, and will that no crap from no one, in fact has been known to make men cry. There is a breif outline of three of the character's out of the movie, lets get it underway...
The Plot: Camron is a new kid at a Padua High. He is shown the ropes of his new school by Michael, (played by David Krumholtz). Michael, is classed as a nerd, and he helps Camron on his quest for Bianca. But along with Camron, someone else whats to be with Bianca too, His name is Joey, (played by Andrew Keegan). Joey is a Jock, this means he is very popular among the girls. Joey is a modle and is not about to keep it to himself. So with this twisted tale coming into order, Michael, and Camron, find out that Bianca is not aloud to date until here older sister does. They come up with a plan. They are to get Joey to think that he is going to have a chance at Bianca, by getting him to brib or pay someone to take out Kat. Patrick Verona (played by Heath Ledger) (Patrick, damm what a good name, hehe) is the only person to fit the match for Kat. Joey pays Pat to take out Kat, so that he can get a change at Bianca. Camron makes Joey do this so he has a chance at Bianca. Bianca is total unaware of all this. Patrick is used but ends up falling for Kat. Kat is slowly falling for Patrick. Mr Stratford, is worried that his little girl is going to get involved and end up a teenage mother, and all this ties together to be a very funny film that i beleive will have everyone on the flood with laughter.
I loved the movie myself, not just because of Larisa Oleynik, but because it was a movie that you could relate to, well not everything, but just little things. It was full of jokes, life and Partys!! Sensational acting for such a young cast, and a great movie to go see over and over again, only to come out with the same big smile across your face. If i were to give this movie a rating out of ten it would have to be 10. All in all 10 things i hate about you is a Brilant movie, highly recomended to put a smile to anyones face. Oh and they finally got the Australian acksent just about spot on!!.
