Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to look at these pages, unfortunately I no longer have the time it takes to be an even somewhat decent webmaster, so this page will soon shut down. If anyone wants to take this page over please e-mail me. In the meantime, feel free to take any pictures or info you want. By the way, for the curious Mike is now playing in Japan.
Mike Blowers is a very talented baseball player, both offensively and defensively. He has played for the Yankees, the Mariners, the Dodgers, and is currently with the Athletics. His primary position is third base, but he can also play first, outfield, Designate Hitter, and even catcher. He is an incredible streak hitter as well as a clutch hitter. His best season came with the Seattle Mariners in 1995 when he was one of the main contributors in the Mariners amazing drive to the AL West championship. He is now one of the veterans and leaders on the Athletics, and it looks like he could have a good future there.
Well, Mike finished off a pretty good year, some of his highlights included 409 At Bats, 24 doubles, and an amazing 71 RBI on 97 hits. In addition, Mike hit for the cycle in a 14-0 victory against the White Sox, becoming only the 99th AL player and 218th to accomplish this.
