Directions: Take Exit 8 from I-540 and go Southeast on SR-22 approx. 5.4 
miles to Ft. Chaffee entrance on your right.  Go through gate and proceed on 
4th St. approx. 0.9 miles to 4 way stop.  Turn right onto Ft. Smith Blvd. 
(Sign In is in the building on the Northeast corner of this intersection) and 
proceed to stop sign. Turn left and then turn right at the first road to the 
right into the camping area.

From members: Three spaces are for 40' or more RV's.  Base has been turned 
over to the National Guard.  Plans are being made to move the camp 
to another location on base (Date not confirmed).

Directions:  Follow US-67 North from Little Rock to Jacksonville.  Exit at 
the AFB exit (Exit 11) and follow signs through gate.  Go straight ahead on 
Vandenburg Drive to Arnold Drive (first junction), turn left and follow 
Arnold Drive about 1.5 miles to Second St.  (Family Camp Sign on your 
right).  Turn right on Second St., then turn left at first road into Fam-Camp.  
Check-in is at building 640 but you can find an empty space and call telling 
them you're there and leave your money in an envelope at the bulletin 
board at the camp.  Look for tags on posts at each site to determine 
unoccupied spaces.

Input from members: Just wanted to update you on Little Rock FAMCAMP. Check-in is still at bldg 
604 (Outdoor Recreation Center), and they now have an in-camp host. After 
hour travelers can just locate untagged sites and hook-up, the host will come 
collect fees (still $10 per night). Latrine facilities now have a combo 
lock, and campers can get the combination from Outdoor Rec or the host. They 
still aren't marking defective sites, but I can tell you that the first 8 
sights (along the entry road) are the original (oldest) sites and have the 
most problems. On the good side, the dump station is now located at the 
entrance to the FAMCAMP area (not at the back gate anymore). They also have 
a very nice nature walk/arboretum that begins and ends at the FAMCAMP.

There is no longer a camp host on site.  Check in at Bldg 640 after occupying site.
50 Amp service is being installed at front sites on the blacktop  area.
