I was born by coincidence in Austria (the country, not my birth was the coincidence) of a British father and a Swedish mother; I guess that is one of the reasons why I learned and still learn with ease foreign languages. As the son of true cosmopolitans, I changed countries and continents throughout my first 25 years and ended up with a degree in Psychology and Business Administration. During the next 15 years, this combination and having gathered a lot of experience travelling the world, helped me build my network of companies in three continents and I still enjoy adding a few once in a while, relying heavily on the latest Internet techniques.
My first contact with the Internet's predecessor was about 10 years ago, during a project for a government entity; a that time I sent out emails with a whopping 2,400 bps and the latest screamer was a beta 9,600 modem for about 1,300 USD ... Since 5 years I reside with my family in the Dominican Republic, one of the most fascinating countries I have encountered so far. When I am not hiding behind my two computer monitors, I enjoy outdoor activities with my family and friends as well as volunteering for different good causes including the Geocities community.
