  Nitsa gives us a bike tour of Los Angeles and a few surroundings with some nice photos of people and places you would see along the way. I wonder if the cops she photographed will be more willing to forget your bad parking habits if you mention that you saw them on her page!




• Natalia Arevalo's Travels Nati is from Argentina and loves to travel. Here she has put together of some of her travels in the last few years. Her descriptions of these places are very realistic accompanied by some great photos. Her pages are in english and spanish.



• April 11, 1998 The California Coast Debbie's pages show you some of the magic of Southern California's coast...the beaches, magnificent sunsets, surf and the magic. I couldn't help but feel homesick when I saw it.



• March 14, 1998 The Gems of Thought Anne honors the love and wisdom of her grandfather by sharing some of his quotes and ideas on life. Not all of us have the chance to know our grandparents so well and share the experience they have had. A beautifully designed site as well!



• March 10, 1998 Ewok's Page Les is a friend in the land Down Under..Australia. His page is a tasteful view of some of his passions and loves-nature, wildlife, fossils and flowers. Link no longer available.



• January 17, 1998 Kat's Place on the Beach Kat touched me with a beautiful homepage. It is a relaxing easy place to be, filled with beautiful sunsets (reminded me of home alot). She offers a powerful testimonial about drinking and driving that everyone should read (Link no longer available)



• January 17, 1998 Winemaking A clean, well organized resource on winemaking for all levels. Jack has a many interests and does a nice job of showing you his life and lots of resources for further exploration.



• January 15, 1998 You have to have a dream Ric has one of the most wonderful sites I have visited in a long time. You cannot help but feel inspired by going to this. There is a warmth and wonderful humanity here. It touches something very basic in all human beings, the courage to follow your dreams.



• January 1, 1998 Images of Mexico A wide ranging, passionate portrayal of Mexico and the Maya world by photographer and friend Edward Dawson. His work shows the mystery of the Maya, a subject I too am deeply fascinated by, and is done with a great deal of warmth and respect for the culture.



• December 29, 1997 Pamela, Orchids and Paradise Dean (Sandshifter) is a new colleague and friend on the Community Leader team here in the Tropics. His homepage title tells you about his passions but you will also find someone who obviously has a deep commitment to helping others in many different ways. It is a warm place, one you will always feel welcome in. Make sure to check out his many interests and passions.



• December 29, 1997 Scottish Radiance: A Hebridean Journal A lovely online magazine about Scottish culture, music and arts. Exceptional not only in the wide variety of topics it covers but in the tasteful display of talent and beauty. In Gaelic and English.



• Nov. 17, 1997- Linda's Orchid Pages. Linda is passionate about my favorite flower, the orchid. That passion shows. Her site is a rich resource for orchid lovers. It is an elegant place, alive with color and passion.
