1. Don't buy them! (If you can't stand to pass up an issue, remember that most tabloids have websites you can access for free...money talks.)

2. Patronize stores that do not carry tabloids, or who have restricted tabloids showing pictures of Princess Diana's accident scene.

5. Write letters to tabloids expressing your disapproval of their tactics in obtaining pictures of celebrities.

3. Tell the managers of the stores you patronize that you agree with their decision to prohibit certain tabloids...public opinion counts!

4. Write letters of commendation to the national headquarters and local branches of stores that have refused to carry tabloids.

6. Write your local, state, and national legislators expressing your concern over tabloid photographers, and let them know you would vote for legislation restricting paparazzi access to celebrities.

7. Pass these tips on to your friends! Knowledge is power.
